If Inverter from 1hp - 1.5hp should be around Rm250-350
If non inverter at around Rm180-200. but don't think for future change from Gas R22 into R410a or R32 anymore.

Insulation foam should apply on each copper and drain pipe as well.

Wires should use pure wire cable as well, the grade should be use 3C40 or 3C70 or 4C40 also can, got backup in future.

PVC drain pipe can be upgrade from 16mm to 20mm as well, to avoid choke or clogging anytime.

if i have seen ur comment earlier i will have just buy non inverter type.  this is the first time i buy inverter aircond will see how it goes...

I plan to get a couple of AC, one 1.5 hp and the other is 2/2.5 hp . Earlier for master second is for living room.
However , the new model of DAIKIN with inverter and 5 star energy consumption seems to be very expensive at the moment. FTKP series.

Anyone would recommend something similar with a lower price? Mainly looking for easy parts and good quality.

one of my unit is full midea wall AC inverter R32 type.. back to end of 2020.. so far energy consumption really good, no big difference as compared to panasonic.. turn out AC still very cool after nearly 3 years time.. no services by any technician.. just normal maintenance by cleaning the filter only.. for the price, i will definitely go for Midea for sure.. i already planned all midea AC for next home at year end cause it came with wifi module.. price a lot cheaper compared with panasonic/daikin..

after carefully deliberating , i am planning to get a 2hp for my living hall inverter, if not cold in future will put this into my master which is currently using 1.5 hp and the 1.5 hp i will put for another room which currently got no air cond. The replace the 2hp with the 2.5 hp.

My question , can i simply switch around or is there a concern on the already pull piping and what not?

Secondly , my developer have done the piping in the wall , what kind of connections does an aircond need?

There is one in wall and then the other one from the aircond to the compressor ?

Will this impact anything when making changes.

Hello all, just curious if the unit ceiling height is 9.5ft, is it okay to install cassette aircond?
