Hey guys,

I'm looking for 4 units of air cond for my house.
1.0hp x2units
1.5hp x1unit
2.0hp x1unit
All inverter.

I was quoted with Panasonic models the following pricing
CSS10TKH (1.0hp) RM1320*2
CSS13TKH (1.5hp) RM1650
CSS18TKH (2.0hp) RM2640
TOTAL: RM6930

Worth it?

Or should I be looking for other brands?

ps:
I have a really big regret as I missed out the Sharp's 33Years promo on it's inverters. Really really hard to swallow for missing out on that... Now I have no choice but to consider Pana as Sharp's airconds are sold out everywhere and there's no stock....

Panasonic very easy covered with dust, cooling fins easily filled up with thick dust. That's what I feel compared to super old national brand.

Based on my experience installing 3 samsung aircond, you might want to skip this brand as all three are faulty starting from the first year. 1.0 hp x 2 non inverter and 1.5hp inverter all gave same problem. End up after 2 years just change to daikin and fujiair.

Geez man. That's brutal. I've heard plenty of horror stories from my friends as well never ever go for Samsung AC as they're pretty horrible in quality and not durable at all...

Oh well I guess it's down to Pana/Daikin/Sharp. Perhaps I might consider Mitsubishi as well...

Bad experience with pana.
Filter holes too big. Fins too small and soft. Gets blocked too fast and too easily. Indoor unit leak gas after 2 years.

Bad experience with all aircon coming out of oyl factory. Yes, that includes acson and daikin and York. The metal that holds the fin and earth is just normal iron and steel. Normal steel screws too. And they rust easily.
York aircon capacitor fail easily.

Not sure about the York air-cond which you mentioned the capacitor fails easily. Our York air-conds have been in use for 13 years now without any failed capacitors. Only 1 showed issues with water leakage but after service it now works fine.

Total 5 York air-conds and 2 units are in use everyday.

Panasonic has launch a new model of aircond with the blower being on top rather than the traditional down. Is a good design to consider

you mean the sky series right?

salesperson told me it will be discontinue by june/july due to poor reception of that model (too expensive and not a lot of people are buying it).

Not sure how true, but I already heard from 2 different sales people from 2 different shops.

R22 (old gas if you are referring to) pipings and R410a/R32 pipings are different thickness. The former being thinner in terms of thickness. Both R410a and R32 gas are high pressure gas, the thinner pipings may not be able to withstand the pressure.

If Pana priced at there, I rather go for daikin. +100++ at each HP..

IMO, whatever brand it is, go for something much more simpler and less "smart" function because you don't really need it and it has higher tendency to fail.
