Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry are different brands. they do not have any relationship with each other, products and parts are totally different. personally thinks that Mitsubishi Electric is the better brand. it also has 2 years general warranty, and 7 years years compressor warranty for their wall mounted split unit. other Japanese brands usually only offer 1 year general warranty, 5 years compressor warranty
