My Panasonic no fan mode? How to do that?

Just a quick question.

Currently I'm using Daikin inverter 1.5 hp for my masteroom size 16ft X 19.5 ft. I found that the compressor runs frequently and the energy consumption is around 10kwh for 12 hours of usage, I am not sure is normal or not? Temperature set at 23 degree. Just wondering if I change to 2.5hp inverter, am I going to save my electric bill? Thanks in advance for the advices.

Thanks Sifu for your reply, I will consider for 2hp. May I know what is the different between r410a and r32 gas? Does it influence the energy usage? I saw some articles online saying that r410a is going to discontinue. Does it affected the user in future?

which brand should i go for? in term of maintenance, reliability, etc.

also i do see there is SAVE3.0 program by govt, how does that work if i wanted to purchase 6 units?

hi guys, i m surveying 2.0 HP to replace my spoilted 5 year old daikin (sempat to claim warranty for compressor but it then only last for 6 month)

my initial preference is panasonic deluxe s series, however, found midea all easy pro (https://www.midea.com/my/air-conditioners/residential-air-conditioners/wall-mounted-inverter/2-0hp-all-easy-pro-inverter-series-msep-19crfn8) quite attractive interm of price/ mechanisme/ ? power usage but wonder if it's accurate as being advertised

19000 btu vs 18000 btu
1460w vs 1320w
1/5 warranty vs 2/5 warranty
price wise pana definitely more expensive.. by few hundreds

is it the lower W, more cost saving ? or need to see how much coverage area too?

any review on this midea pro easy? as only found few seller in lazada/shoppee only

My current 2HP air cond making much and louder noise when power on. The outdoor unit loud noise and indoor unit got “seem” loud noise.

Usually set at 28 with auto fan speed. Occasionally will set fan speed to medium and low fan speed.

Can’t tell personally whether it is abnormally loud and whether due to fan speed.

Got technician came and check and said compressor is faulty and said expensive to change compressor. Instead advisable to replace to a new unit.

Any sifu  here for similar experience and what next steps to take

Hi ppl, if my aircon during hot afternoon, feel like no aircon at all. i see my smart socket got running around 500-600w, what might be the problem?

at night is cold if i put 23c, but if put 25c like abit warm also.

last year. i suspect the guy come service, he only simply clean spray spray.. cos i see the fin still dirty.. then the louvre also dirty.. Tis time i find proper guy come service. Will it be possible the gas leak? tis time i wan ask them open all and wash, cos i feel the fan wind like high, but macam no feel one.

This air cond has not been service for long times already.
Only last 3 years been using it constantly 3-4 hours at night time and 1-2 hours afternoon.

okay, but even night last time put 25-26, is okay one. now feel diff abit. outside ambient temp lately around 30+c when hot but last few years doesnt have tis problem. my unit is MHI R410A model maybe 8years edi i believe.
ok thanks. will ask them do thorough clean. i ask my friend recommend another service guy, he did say should be dirty need clean and got ask me what model also. hopefully is good tis time.

Hi everyone, I need some advice. I have recently collected my key for my first new house. The unit comes with two (2) new PanaXXnic air conditioners provided by the developer. Due to my unit is only 700sqft, both air cond are non-inverter and with 2 compressors. The developer installed 1 compressor at my tiny balcony and another 1 in the yard.

I'm thinking whether it is wise for me to sell it off, and buy a new one or trade-in for inverter and multi-split type. How much I should sell to the air cond guy? Is 30% off from the RRP reasonable?

Also, is the multi-split type prone to damage?

Anyone experience there’s only right side of the AC blowing air? The setting is not  on one side mode… even up close also very obvious it’s only bowing from one side though can see the fan is rotating …

Additionally, my new house come with developer copper pipping already... How do i know if the provided pipping enough for what kind of gas, inv/non inv?? Need airocnd man tu check and confirm?

My master bedroom is 18' x 17' ~ 306 sqft (ceiling is 10.5' tall)

So last year actually I ordered the 2.5 HP Daikin FCF inverter cassette... but until now stocks haven't arrive la. So their distributor offered me 3HP unit instead without extra charges. Should I go for it? I mean pros is that it can cool faster on hot days, and well it likely will take up more power (less efficient) since I usually set like 24C instead of 20C.

Hi I measured the copper piping given by my developer are 12.7mm.. does it mean i can only install those aircond that fit 12.7mm? Most of them are 2hp and above... Can i install a 1hp 9++mm at the 12.7mm existing piping?

Its semi D.. and i already measure all the piping by myself..
