chill guys , no need to argue ... it would be endless

Hmm, sometime we never argue at all, just accept for real life's.

Like Panasonic compressor made in China also, do you believe it?

Also air swing motor as well.

Like iPhone & Irobot vacuum also made in China, but quality control is nothing wrong.

kimsim, if using daiso filter still need to clean filter or not? or just change filter less than 3 mins? rm 5 for 4 filters or rm20 for 4 filters? tks
*
4pcs for Rm5.3 only

Within 3 mths just change the Daiso filters only, also can wash the Daiso filters for reused.

The pre-filter don't have dust at all, if you want wash also can.

Hi there sifus. Im in the market for a new aircond. It is for my son's room. Room size is 8x15. Any recommended brand. My view is that 1 hp is more than enough and inverter is not needed as the aircond is only on during sleep

Thanks for the help. Cheers.
*
1hp will be sufficient

Screw out at outdoor or indoor unit then you can see, but can't tells the different.

Need to cut off the copper gas pipe then see the different

Old school piping save cost, it is thinner and smaller, compare to the new inverter piping.
*
Oops u r wrong Liao

All Aircons piping size are the same as hosepower required, just internal diameter of thickness are different only, low price and getting thin cover of pipe thickness.

The most important was thickness, due to bend or cut-off can be out of shape, once out of shape when flare and nuts connection join can be leak.

Thanks for sharing... so old school pipe is cheaper because it is thinner but not smaller... right? hmm.gif
*
Ya corrected.

Size will affect the performance of cooling and duration time also compressor runs gas.

Only thickness not related to compressor and working, but will affect the condition such as gas leak or explode some way, like wire broken some way.

Sir, check with you. i  have 1.5hp inverter unit and 3hp unit both used same copper size pipe?

Both are using 410 gas.
*
1.5hp some model still used same size with 1hp and the only 2hp and above is slighly different pipe size, if from 2.5hp and above the copper size is a big gap.

You have to check with the product specs on each models

Hello,

need some advice. We need to change our old york 1.5hp  cassete aircon (10 yrs old). options are pana 1.5 inverter, acson 1.5 inverter or midea 1.5 inverter. Midea price is quite cheap but dont know performance and maintenance. pana and acson heard before.

my other samsung inverter, also 1.5 hp.

now thinking between pana or acson, price difference is 200.

pblm is my room faces west, so by 7pm, the room at at 30-34 degrees.

thank you for any advice
*
Why not consider for daikin Inverter 1.5hp very powerful than others

our personal experience

STAY away from Midea ac

Cheap is what you will regret even before the warranty expires. Dont believe, then my bet is that you will be calling for technical support warranty claim within 1 year of your Midea ac purchase

I am not recommending brands here but sharing my many experience with Midea cooling products, and if you dont believe, do a search in the forum about Midea ac, do your due diligence

anyway gl
*
Actually Gree also from China but the quality will be much much better than Midea or hisense too

But dunno why nobody talks from Fujiare
