Has anyone noticed X-Deluxe has increased in price significantly as compared to last year? I remember that I could get 1.0 around 1.2k, but now it is around 1.6k? Is there anything that I missed?

My aircond has knocking sound occasionally that would only go off after I switched it off and turn it back on again? What could potentially be the issue?

Do you guys have this problem?

Panasonic inverter xpu series..
After turn off sometimes the flap dint close completely..
Then I need off the 20A switch and open back it will reset back the position to complete close flap..

[attachmentid=11052778]
*
Did you turn off the power before the flap closes completely? The flap will close slowly after you switch the aircond off using the remote, so wait till it is fully closed before you turn off the power.

Yes. According to the manual, the AC will release the nanoe-g for approximately another 30 mins after the AC is turned off to kill off the bacteria on the filter.
*
This is good information. I always wonder why the flap will not entirely close with nano.

i see thank you very much for your input. i already ordered the midea extreme cool inverter type for the few main room that i will be using much.

if i have seen ur comment earlier i will have just buy non inverter type.  this is the first time i buy inverter aircond will see how it goes...
*
Yes usually I buy inverter for rooms that I use frequency (i.e. bedroom). For others like study room I usually get the non inverter type.

Hi. Does the savings of electricity by inverter really significant as claimed by the salesman? Let say use for 6hrs?
*
It really depends on your usage pattern. Tbh I have not did the calculations if inverter is really saving on my electricity bill.

But tbh it’s just a few hundred ringgit difference for something that you intend to use for years to come. Hence I just went for the inverter type.

Better to get Inverter, especially for a small room. I'm using non-inverter in my study room and the room isn't comfortable due to aircon compressor cutting in and out. One moment it's too cold, another moment it's stuffy.
*
Yes I second this. For small room please just get inverter Aircond due to the temperature control. It will feel much more comfortable.

Hi guys, i have been using my Panasonic aircond for the past 10 years. I used to service it (detailed service where the guys will dismantle the indoor unit & cleaned it properly) once a year.

Recently for the past 2 years, it keeps on leaking near the blower. N the problem is solved every time i serviced it. But it only last for like 4-5mths before it leaks again.

The aircond man said its bcoz my aircond is too dirty n requires frequent service.

Any advise on this?
*
Usually this is because the pipe has blockage, then the water overflow. This is what my service guy told me when I had the exact same problem like yours 1 month ago. Maybe they didn't clean it thoroughly? They will use a powerful vacuum to clear whatever debris that is in the pipe.

So far so good though.

Anyone here using a Panasonic aircond?

When I turn on the switch, why does the flap open and close?
*
When you turn on, the flap will remain open unless you switch on the swing feature (the flap will open and close when this feature is switched on).

Any idea why does my Panasonic Nanoe light sometimes stay on after I turn off the air conditioner?
*
It's part of the aircond feature of nanoeX..they doing some disinfection of the filter i guess. I just leave it there most of the time, not sure how effective is the feature though.

No way for me to verify haha

Just bought few 1HP & 1.5HP Midea non-inverter units for my rent units in KL recently. Price wise definitely cheapest compare to Japanese brands. Was recommended by friends even few aircond installers.

Latest price for Midea with installation for 1HP (<RM1.1K) & 1.5HP (<1.4K) based on number of units you want to buy.
*
Which model did you get? Even for their non inverter ones there are a few models to choose from.

They have a Shopee shop if I’m not mistaken. If they are the same shop, then I can vouch for them. I bought from the Shopee store before.

previously my master bedroom using 1hp Daikin non inverter, now upgraded to 1hp Mitsubishi inverter

initially will feel Mitsubishi seems to cool slower, but once it reached the set temperature the coolness felt constant throughout the night until morning. Now I feel the room is much cooler in the morning compared to the Daikin non inverter, set to same temperature @ 24c
*
Yes I do agree that inverter aircond is more suitable for sleeping. I have inverter aircond in my master and non-inverter in my guest room. The aircond in my guest room gets very cold at night even though I didn't set a low temperature (mostly around 24 degrees) as compared to my master room using the same temp.
