i was actually trying to compare between daikin ga and york. i enjoyed ME msy-ge10va silence. looking for something simliar.

Hello everyone, I was thinking to purchase a 1.0HP AC. At first I wanted to go for the Sharp AHXP10SHV which is the Plasmacluster and Eco Inverter.

However, when I went to view the AC I noticed a polystyrene block / chunk just behind the cooling coil, the sales guy told me that, that this is permanent with the AC. if what he said is true, that's quite bad ya?

And if the polystyrene block can be remove during the installation that makes the Sharp cooling coil quite small compared with the other brand. However what I'm interested with this model is the Aluminum usage on the outdoor unit. Can anyone that is using the AC comment on this?

If that's the case, I'm going for either the Mitsubishi (indoor unit is quite small but outdoor unit using DC motor inverter. However, the indoor unit is note as wide as other brand on the market).

Another choice would be the Panasonic 1.0HP Deluxe Inverter. I'm using the old model. So far no complaint.

If switch from non inverter to inverter. All the piping need to be redone right?

aiyoooo. hmm. then maybe consider getting non-inverter hahah. the piping is not concealed in concrete, but behind plasterboard. maybe can just pull it.

the AC i got in my bedroom i just found out is 2.5HP. which is a bit overkill hahah. i think 2 is nice and slightly oversized... 2.5 really... dunno what the previous owner was thinking.

Bought 2 units of 1 hp in 2013 and still using them "heavily". Langsung no rosak at all. Unbelievable!
