QUOTE(supersound @ Jul 13 2015, 03:17 PM) My Panasonic non inverter last me for 10 years and still quiet when I'm using it at night. Problem is Inverter board is sensitive to our dirty TNB current...I always service it once a year No need to extend the warranty, don't waste money on this. As said, clean the filter once every 2 weeks and service it once a year. I dont blame the electronics but TNB current is unstable... I have a Electricity stabiliser and it is constant flashing informing me the current is unstable... which can fry a inverter pcb board... Get additional warranty for piece of mind... |

QUOTE(supersound @ Jul 13 2015, 03:34 PM) Unstable can be due to various reasons. The Transformer room is old.... that is back in my hometown...Did they come and tighten then incoming cables? This is the main thing to be done. With such move, my voltage from 255V dropped to 240V. in KL I live in Condo... the current much stable in KL but to save RM150 and take risk... nah I rather spend RM150 for additional warranty (5 years full coverage) RM30 per year only ba.... |

QUOTE(supersound @ Sep 15 2015, 11:02 AM) [attachmentid=4949197] Depend...A morning troll on my monthly TNB bill for 1.5HP non inverter(4 hours max, 20 days) and 2HP also non inverter(1-2 hours, 22 days) which all inverter fanboys won't dare to share out on their monthly bills, rather than keep on boasting out how superior their inverter are. The air cond in your living hall shall be as near to your sofa(or place that you sit most of the time), don't expect to cool the whole hall like your room with just 2-3 hours. It won't able to as the surface area too big. Also, if you install it on the red box, the cool air won't able to reach your dining hall. So the best place is install on the front wall, then it can blow till dining. Also it can reduce the piping length which will improve the efficiency. With your usage, just get the non inverter will do, no need to waste money on inverter unless your usage is > 4 hours. Mine apartment Previously : 1x 1.5hp Pana non Inverter (Rarely use), 1x 1hp Pana non inverter (8hr daily) and 3 Mitsu non inverter (rarely use) : Monthly electricity bill Hover around RM230 to RM250 Now : All the same except my 1hp Pana non inverter has been replace with 1hp Pana Inverter i-AutoX Deluxe : Monthly electricity hover around RM140 to RM160 I save Rm100 per month which based on my calculation will breakeven my AC cost in 7-8 mth... rest is bonus Inverter technology do save electricity BUT if you use it correctly My living room 1.5AC rarely use unless it is very HOT then will switch it on to cool the home down but then per month the living room AC rarely clock 10hr For the Bed room I choose Inverter cause it uses 8hr or more a day so there is cost savings For the other bed room and study room also rarely use unless there is guess so dont bother with inverter Unless you plan to switch the whole house Aircond 10hr a day then INVERTER This post has been edited by calvin_ng: Sep 15 2015, 11:28 AM |

QUOTE(madib @ Nov 20 2015, 11:21 AM) I want to start a campaign to stop buying LG Malaysia product, if your LG’s product become faulty after the warranty period, you cannot buy the spare parts from LG, you cannot engage outside electrician to repair your appliances, the parts is not available to unregister service man, only registered service contractor is allow to buy parts from LG and charge you expensively. These unfair practises caught customer by surprise...SO THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING LG PRODUCT IN MALAYSIA. Don’t be like me, that’s does not listen to the Air Condition service man, says LG AIRCOND is expensive to repair when it is out of warranty. Cheapest parts is Panasonic in Malaysia.... either you hate it or love it...its the fact...Even my Mitsubishi AC parts is expensive |

QUOTE(Nepo @ Oct 6 2017, 08:21 AM) Hi, do air conditioners (for residential) bring in fresh air from the outside? Unless you live in a Air Tight room there is nothing to worry... but if you do open the door once a while or windows will do....If they just circulate the inside air, do we have enough oxygen if we stay in an air cond room for hours? Thanks for replying. |
