Nowadays you cant be sure about these anymore. Stainless steel also used to be rust-free but nowadays it is also rusting. The composition of these metals are changing every now and then despite being labeled with the same 304 standard.

I think one of the cheapest brand in market and lots of stock.

Maybe supplies or shop also get more sales than branded (expensive) one ..

Nowadays people will get cheaper things if it does the job..
If broken, not so loss and get one..

u guys talk about LG. i once owned a LG aircon, i now still have a samsung aircon

i draw the conclusion you should NEVER buy korean products ever. fridges all. complete trash. i made it a lifelong mission to campaign against korean products. even samsung ssd's are complete trash.

I dont think its a fair statement to give a blanked order that all korean products are bad!

Many of us have korean model LG and samsung, that had lasted a long time and some still running.

Personally to me, all brands are similar, there are certain models that are bad and problematic, and some models is a workhorse!

Nowadays electronics are not built as how it used to 20-40 years ago.

Can I straight away turn on the aircon after installation? How long to let it run to check for any issue.

From my experienced, yes you can straight away turn on the aircond, 1-2 hours run, if no problem then ok la

for Air Con..... 2 brands are amazing: Mitsubishi and Carrier. It is shocking that so few people mentioned these 2 brands when it comes to air con.

No doubt are also a good brand, but then they are not keeping to technology most of their models are 3 star energy rating only.
