Hi. Is the Panasonic nanoe Airconds worth it? Has the added function of purifying the air without needing the cooling function.

So ur saying the function Panasonic advertised is just a gimmick?

2. 1 panasonic 1hp inverter XPU10WKH
3. 1 panasonic 1.5hp non-inverter PN12WKH
4. Install 2 brackets to hold the compressors

Worth 4.5k? Or am i being overcharged?

hello guys, I wanna know is there any aircond seller willing to trade in aircond? My house is ready and there are free aircond provided by developer. Haier brand but I feel like to change to other brands (for peace of mind in future)... any ideas if I can sell / trade in these aircond a?

I got Samsung 1hp model AR09NRF (R410) taken out from other house.. upon reinstall on new place.. aircond man said outdoor unit coils spoiled.. better buy new aircond.. 

The aircond only been used for 2 years.. issit wise to just get any brand outdoor unit with similar specs to replace the spoiled unit?

Plan to get USED Outdoor Unit maybe from different brand (with similar specs) because hard to get Samsung outdoor unit

if its an inverter type, then Im not sure but if its the non inverter type, definitely you can change the split units to a different brand

I saw my AC installer installed my AC today. I saw inside the indoor unit there is a big piece of polystyrene. Is that part supposed to be removed before installation, or it is part of the indoor unit?

The polystyrene part was screwed on the indoor unit itself. At the back where the trench for the copper tubing is.

My contractor giving excuse that because I ask him to do individual insulation for the copper tubing, the gap become larger. But then why the gap at the top is also larger than usual?

hi all sifus,I 've read through  this post and is looking at the Sharp AHX9VED2 ,so I went to a Expo exhibition  last weekend ,almost all the aircon seller were shocked by me asking for Sharp ,they strongly advised me to not go for Sharp
Reasons:
1. Sharp is going to close down
2. All OEM products (aircons)
3. Terrible aftersales service from their/customer experiences(This is the first thing they mentioned whenever I bring up the Sharp brand)

Anyone can share some insight?Is Sharp really that bad?

Do you guys tint your windows? Personally I will be using those blind that prevents light from coming in, but not sure if still need to tint? Effect really good?

Current house has tint but I bet it loses effectiveness already since over 20 years. Not sure if aircon good enough.

Appreciate if you guys can intro too the tint you use if indeed tint is very much a necessity. Thanks.

For aircon, yes indeed a lot of inverter aircons running out, so they say. In fact a lot of electronic stores always say this run out that run out. But when you really put money to where your mouth is, they will say get stock from their competitor etc and even give you a competitive price... lol.

For my hall (don't really know size, double storey terrace), I plan to use 2 1.5HP aircons because the in-build pipes already there and we will also install Fan. One inverter and one normal. The idea is once somewhat cool enough I will switch off the 1.5 normal one and leave only the inverter one on. Or is it I must use 2HP?

My new kondo have a 1HP aircon in living room and 1HP aircon in dining room.

I am doing renovation, want to change new aircon. Is it wise to just place one 2HP aircon in living room and cancel the dining room aircon (living room & dining room is together)

Is there something like a smarthome solution  I could use to take control of aircond temperature? Due to WFH, we sometimes have 4 AC running during day time, but some of them always set temperature at the lowest causing the electric bill to choak up. I would like to maintain temp in between 22 to 25 celcius for some of the AC units.

I know. Even using phone with IR can replace the remote control. That's why I am looking if there is any solution to somehow do parental control on the AC.

Hi all, it's getting hot nowadays. I am staying in a double story house. Thinking of installing a 2.5hp Air Cond unit in my living room, which actually combined with dining and kitchen area making it quite a sizeable area.

Anyway, my main concern is with a staircase opening where the cool air will surely escape through upstairs. Any idea how what kind of door can be installed to seal it and access the staircase when needed?
