I think XPU came out with WKH (without built in WiFi) first, before XPU XKH (with built in WiFi). There is no XPU-VKH as I can remember

The daikin team said even though there are wide gaps on the grille, some hot air will still be blocked and circulate back to the ledge area. They proposed to duct out the compressor to lead hot air to the grille. But they will only do that if the cooling efficiency is affected by the placement.

Leave a meter in front of the ODU fan will suffice.

my 2yo pana 1hp inverter got gas leak at indoor cooling coil, is it worth changing to new coil? cost about RM500 to replace or better buy new

Confirmed cooling coil from technician ? or is it the piping joints ?

Rare case if is indeed from the coil.

What I will do ...if is indeed the coil, then I will buy a complete 2nd hand unit and keep the current for spare parts.

i can hear hissing and smell the gas from indoor unit; maybe its the joints, haven't called anyone to check yet

Try to check just below the casing or wall for any signs of dripping oil.

For those who are using Pana X-Deluxe model. Do you guys face the cooling not as good as regular non inverter units? I have one 1.5hp and in terms of cooling with temp 23-24c and fan speed 2bars. The cooling is just so so vs my another 1hp regular non inverter pana where 24/25c can feel the coldness already. Any idea?

Inverter temp is true temp. Ur non is overcooling.

Firstly, since both are different hp, I believed the room size is also different. The 1.5 could be in an open space and the 1 hp in an enclosed room.

Secondly, is possible the 1.5 hp is undersized to room space. So the ac cannot achieved the 'set' temperature.

Thirdy, the right way to know the temperature is to use a thermometer. Place 1 in each room and away from the blower direction.

Yes. Both are two different area the 1.5hp is in the master room and 1hp is in back room. Since is already install, what are the ways to make it cool? I notice is when upon turn on before sleep i feel is cooling but after midnight 3-4pm the aircond blower stops and this is where i feel hot.😅. Can i Dail the temperature lower? Increase the fan speed? 🤔 if colder that would defeat the purpose of energy savings.

Does the cooling mode restarts after sometime or it remains the same till you off ?

I didnt really take note but if i adjust the temperature from 24 to 23c then the blower starts again. Otherwise it just maintain without any blower sound.

I suspect it could be copper / room sensor problem. If you know diy, then unplug the sensor pin from the module and plug in again to try. Otherwise, you need to call the technician.

I'm currently surveying an aircon for living room, budget within RM 2000 (possible wanna make sure of save 3.0 discount)

My current bedroom is using Samsung 1.0HP inverter (SAM-AR10TYHY) - was suggested by salesperson
A year of usage, so far is okay and cool enough for small apartment bedroom

So wanna ask opinion whether should I go same brand or find other brand

I'm leaning toward panasonic xdeluxe inverter 1.5HP as the price is within budget and it has some extra feature (wifi capability).

is this model recommended?

Yes, sometimes it works. Otherwise buy a replacement. Is cheaper than calling a technician.

Take a photo of the pin just in case you need to buy a replacement.



Ignore the circle that shows the flap motor.

The pin head is located at the other circle.

UNPLUG THE SWITCH OR TURN OFF THE MAIN if you intend to diy. You need to remove the wire connection to access the pin. Take photo of wire connection b4 removing in case you forgot about which wire goes to which port.

Go for 2 hp. Easier to control temp and fan speed. Faster cooling.
