Not knowing how big ur units are
250-350 per unit give or take 1500-2100 for basic installation.
0.71mm copper is good, preferably acson/daikin pancake
Make sure IDU-ODU is 4-wire. The extra one for signal, use thin wire 1.5mm also nvm. 4 wire (LNE+signal) for safety. Thin wire dont cost much to add on, but its a PITA once u installed as u can't just add on easily.

Rest is hacking cost and concealment.
Ok great. Have to check with installer for the extra signal wire. It's 4unit 1hp and 2unit 2hp, only bedrooms are inverter and all ME brand. Assuming installation 1700, balance being divided into 5 unit is around 440/unit which requires hacking and concealing. I guess it should be reasonable right? everything gone up in price sweat.gif

How about the XU? Notice it is quite similar to XPU.

1) Planning to add a new ac , probably 1HP or 1.5HP for terrace upstairs 3rd room.
Currently running a 2HP Master bedroom, and a 1.5HP upstairs 2nd room.
My house tnb power is standard issue (1 phase?) .
Is it okay for me to add and operate the 3 units 10pm - 8am safely? Other appliance running these time would be fridge, hot water flask, and multiple small devices.

2) Is there an alternative suggestion to install an AC.
the current 1.5hp compressor on the 2nd room is against the back wall of the house, suspended 5 6 feet supported by the usual ac frames. It gets quite noisy inside the room with the vibration.
Is there a way to put it away from the wall.. i have seen some houses with racks away from the wall but it is exposed to sun and rain, also they have supporting cement wall to place on, not sure how I can do it if all roof tiles.

Gree Lomo Queen INV very good. The Lomo N is non inv?
The order in which the brands appear in your post, are how I would start to consider them too.
Hitachi 1.5hp non, also about 1200 only. 2/7 wty.

Hi,

I am planning for 3 units of 1hp and 1 unit of 1.5hp for my new apartment.

I have shortlisted the following:
1) Panasonic 1.0HP R32 X-Deluxe Air Conditioner CS-XPU10WKH (RM1,600)
2) Panasonic 1.5HP R32 X-Deluxe Air Conditioner CS-XPU13WKH (RM1,880)

or

1) Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 1hp Standard Inverter R32 SRK10YXP (RM1,530)
2 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 1.5hp Standard Inverter R32 (RM????)

Currently, my old house is having the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 1hp Standard Inverter 410 for 6+years...so far so good, no major issue, but I was told Btu/h for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is lower than other air-con brand, it is around 9,000 Btu/h, Panasonic is 9,680 Btu/h.

Any advises?

Thanks.

Mitsu u must take the real mitsu mr slim MSY P/N..not MHI SRK P/N. The SRK one kurang performance. For living room 2hp recommended if large area and you like to put cold temps.

Noted, thanks for the advise.

Likely I will opt for:
1) Panasonic 1.0HP R32 X-Deluxe Air Conditioner CS-XPU10WKH (RM1,600)
2) Panasonic 1.5HP R32 X-Deluxe Air Conditioner CS-XPU13WKH (RM1,880) OR 2.0HP (for 2HP... a bit worry no space for the outdoor unit and copper pipe supplied by developer can uses for 2HP)

Hi, in my condo all a/c compressors are installed near the back of the a/c ledge. The front and back of the ledge are open ie well ventilated. Since I’m replacing the a/c, I was told that the best placement for the compressors will be at the front of the ledge for the best ventilation and cooling efficiency. The depth of the ledge is probably around 1.5m. Does moving the compressors to the front of the ledge really make any difference?

As long the place is open, it should be ok. If you can share some photos, it will be easier to give some opinion.

If you intend to move it to the front, is there space to secured the compressor for safety purpose and if your unit is a highrise, will the management allow it to be place there ?

Secondly, are you ok if the wiring and piping to be joint for the new placement, if necessary ?

my bad, confusing model terms.

X-Premium is the XU

X-Deluxe is the XPU

Difference only being the 4 way auto air swing all across the XU range (XPU 2.0hp & Above only has it), Nanoe-X generator generation, and Humidity Sensor for the XU range

For XPU models, make sure you get the XPU--XKH if you need built in wifi, the XPU--WKH (older model but same design) does not have it built in and needs the WLAN adaptor.

Hi guys,
I'm about to install 3 units of AC with 1Hp, and 2 units of AC with 1.5-2hp. For those with 1hp in the bed rooms, I'm hoping to use Wifi / smart / app control for automation. Is there any reliable and economical brand / model to use?

Brands like pana and daikin have it.

But then, when is reliable, it wont be economical and vice versa.

Looking for aircon repair technician (reasonable price) . My LG Q096WEA4 Inverter Aircon will turn off mid operation blink 5 times, and after awhile turn on itself again, keep repeating..

I’ve recently done full chemical cleaning so it’s not dirty issue. Need help!

Call CS and request for authorised service technicians.

Dont just call any technicians. They have little knowledge to troubleshoot . More of trial and error basis plus costly, if unlucky.
