I'm using Asus RT-AC68U, mostly all the Asus RT series router support Maxis fibre. I didn't change the Alcatel Lucent modem from TM, just hopefully one day Maxis will move the voip to the TM modem and can totally replace the maxis router. Now a day if I want to use the voip, I have to connect the maxis router to port no.3 on Asus router. I have few sip phones around and try to to register to maxis sip server but failed, however if i use any of the free sip softphone I'm able to register it on my phone or laptop.

You may try for 1 week and see whether you are okay with the performance? If you are mainly use the wifi and stay in multiple storey house, advise you to get a stronger wifi signal router, as the one come with maxis just perform so so only.

What are the settings for Maxis Fibre on the Asus RT-AC68U? I think that would save a lot of trouble for a lot of people smile.gif

The setup which was posted by Asus support is here https://youtu.be/iBRbk1FSFj0?list=UULdmapfq4AGVMEke0R-nUVw

Btw, i have totally replaced the Maxis router, the LAN port 3 (vlan 822) on Asus router connected directly to a physical sip phone and is working perfectly.
