QUOTE(chinezeboi @ Oct 30 2006, 02:45 PM) im using NOD32 now and i would like to know any good combination that i should install for protection on spyware and firewall i should use?? Hi,NOD32 provides a pretty decent anti spyware capability. but i believe others may say otherwise. Anyway, NOD32 users should look out for the new release of NOD32 (coming very soon) which I understand will boost its anti spyware capability. For firewall, a good recommendation is Zone Alarm free version. It is pretty useful especally if you really need to know whats running around and in/out of the system plus its free. But i have read horror nightmare installs from some furom members here although i have never had problems with ZA.... |

NOD32 + Spybot S&D + Ad-Aware + SpywareBlaster + Zone Alarm 6.1 + (Any optional programs like Bazooka Scanner, A-squared Free, Spyware Terminator, Avast Free, AntiVir Free)
This programs have been tested to complement each other. I use all of them on the same rig. Cheers! |

@jones007
Well, I test AV and AS Combos. Of course the more the better! How do you validate if certain programs don't complement each other? You test all possibilities. LOL. I am really paranoid, so, I can tell you what are the nice programs to use. Cheers! |

@chinezeboi
Most firewalls protect the computer by filtering through data packets going in and out of your computer. Due to this process, there will be a slight delay. Hope your question is answered. Cheers! |
