Yes i find that souls players are lacking here. Too bad bcos coop/pvp with people from other countries usually got timezone issues. When i play they sleep/work, vice versa. Anyway, any ps4 ds3 player here?

Haha so excited bcos this is first souls game i'm going in blind. Well, almost since i already watched a few vids when namco lets youtubers/streamers play it so early.

Played every Souls game on the console. Coming into DS3, I'm giving the PC version a try. First hour, gotta say... 60fps feels a little weird at first, in a bad way. Yeah I can't believe I'm saying this, I prefer the stuttery locked 30fps from the console version.

After that though, adjusted to the fluidity and yeap.. no turning back. May sound like a no brainer, but because I've played souls games for sooooo long on consoles, there's definitely some getting used on the PC.


For those crashing btw, turn down the 'Lighting' to Low. Not sure why this isn't fixed yet, it's a very obvious bug.

Anyone who got used to 60fps will find it hard going back to 30 I wish they made cross-platform multiplayer available though. Bigger player pool that way.

I've been playing at 120fps regularly over the last 2 years. Generally going back to 60 for me isn't even that possible anymore unless I have to.

I'm strictly speaking for Souls games, they were designed for 30fps in the first place. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls has sub 20s with terrible framepacing, but somehow they were still extremely enjoyable. Bloodborne was stunning at 30fps with erratic framepacing, so yeah...

Getting through that mud of sub 20fps into DS3 being 60, it definitely was weird at the beginning.

No they shouldn't make the MP cross platform, did you see the servers From Software uses? They'll melt before even making out of cross platform MP beta.

their reversion of DS2 scholar of first sin version on ps4 is 60fps . I feel the games more fast pace and more responsive . maybe i use to play of PC games more.

Too bad I'm one of those who hates DS2. The remaster was pretty good though, that much I agree.


They don't have clusters of servers that allows thousands and thousands of people to play concurrently. That's whats wrong.

DS3 released but not much time to play.

Made it to firelink shrine and had to stop to continue studying for my exams. :[
