Hi guys, i'm faced with a problem. after updating to el capitan, my macbook pro suddenly can't detect my external HDD. i've been using the external HDD since Mavericks > Yosemite. i've also check in finder>preference>show external hdd. go to disk utility I can see the external HDD but i can't mount it.

Anyone facing this issue? Can anyone point me the direction on how to solve this issue? i've search online for solutions but non of them work including the SMC reset. please help.

external drive format is NTFS. I am running paragon ntfs on my mbp and have been working ever since until my recent update to 10.11.
