That is not possible at all. To achieve lower ohms you need lower gauges. Let's say if you want to get to 0.1ohm using 28 gauge at 2.0mm inner diameter, your coil leg won't even make it past the air hole
As always, refer to steam-engine.org and since you're unsure in rebuilding, I suggest you experiment at higher resistances first.

I normally coil my Subtank on a VS , 28 gauge 3mm 7 wraps will be around 0.15-0.17 .

Recently got a Lemo 2 and SX Mini , everyone seems to be coiling below 0.1 ohm . So thought of trying , haha .

The thicker a wire, the lower the resistance. The longer the wire, the higher the resistance. Keep this rule.

Did you mean 1.5ohm to 1.7ohm? I am very curious on how you're able to achieve such low resistance with 7 wraps. Serious question

"Should" is a word I use loosely here. Check with the manual that it indeed have short protection.
