My Hybrid also had rattling noise on the driver side dashboard. Took it to the SC and the technician said loose bottom cover which he has push it back. Now no rattling noise but very soft plastic creaking noise only once in a while.

I was not in the work shop to witness it. The service adviser only said that the technician push back the bottom cover.
But after about 2 days, the annoying creaking plastic noise coming back again.
Will contact the service center again.

Hi, have you taken the car back to the SC. any feedback. My car looks like having the same sound. Told the SA and they say they added insulation, but still have the intermittent creaking plastic noise. I will have to take the car back in again. My old camry never had this type of problems.

Some updates about the dashboard rattling plastic noise.
Took the car to the SC, waited for the technician, then took the car out with the technician. The technician acknowledged that there is some noise and gave the option to "try" to fix it or leave it until the noise gets louder.
I chose to fix it so need to make another appointment.
Took the car back again and left the car there for the whole day. They say the noise comes from the speaker cover. After driving the car for the past 1 week, there is still a little bit of plastic rattling noise on certain road condition, but the sound is very much softer and the occurrences are also much less.

Is it possible to install the pre-crash alert, lane departure alert, dynamic cruise control in Malaysia?
