Hi all forumer,
1. Toyota meritz, anybody register and using it? 2. do you all experience one off jerking effect when in P position with handbrake on when engine kick in(due to low battery). because I don't feel much effect when car in moving only can hear the engine noise. it is normal? 3. The small battery that supply 12V DC to whole system using deep cycle battery, if this battery need to replace according to saleman can use the normal 12V battery on market, because this battery wasn't cheap. It is true? 3. After read thru some information, this is 3rd generation of hybrid system, the e-CVT different previous version or prius, it doesn't have steel chain belt, torque from engine not enough need from motor to give speed up and bla bla.. so is means the car will not run properly if battery gone.. any comment/correction?? |

QUOTE(Michelleng @ Nov 13 2015, 04:48 PM) My dad likes the accord shape but after testing. He says the accord is noisier and mom feel the accord too bouncy. So at the end chose the camry hybrid. Power wise my dad says the accord doesnt feel lively. Coz he is used to driving my mum w204 cgi. U have to go and test drive the car to see which suits ur requirement. If u want style over comfort then the accord. If u don mind the uncle looking exterior and the normal layout of the interior the camry should fit in hybrid is far more better... at least you don't give so much money to tax.. it only >~10% price compare to usa.. fuel wise also.. |

QUOTE(stimix @ Nov 14 2015, 07:30 AM) Toyota is already well known worldwide f III retry it's durability & reliability . Only their the past 1decade they suffered badly because of the old technology & the uncle looks. do some reading regarding hybrid compare normal car..If they have refreshed their technology & look 4 years ago, I should have choose Camry rather than my recent trade off sonata yf 1. Latest gearbox e-CVT, not like normal CVT example in Altis with metal belt, this one don't have, it drive with single planetary/sun/ring gear, torque demand adjust by motor, it have two motor, attached to the gear, very fast response, it toyota third generation hybrid system and the latest.. not sure lifespan of the motor, should be very lasting that what I expected.. 2. hybrid have inverter cost 40Kplus which located next to engine with two big orange color and so far never have problem.. cannot find the complain in forum that the infor I got.. even in 2007 hybrid model, so can use it in peace mind. 3. Deep cycle battery cost ~+1k, same as normal battery supply 12V power to car OS.. is high quality but you can use the normal 12V batter like ordinary car if choose not to use the deep cycle type when need to replace.. 4. Nickel metal plate battery, the main heart of hybrid system, warranty 8years by UMW after first 3 yrs.. price around +9k.. Beside Artkinson engine more fuel efficient compare to otto engine.. so basically that the different compare to normal car.. I bet on that, from fuel saving every years 2k, it is worth it to drive hybrid system Is very comfort, quiet, easy to drive. More power, torque.. press the fuel you will get what you want.. Last thing, not sure where they import the part from Thailand/Japan, but I pretty sure all the part was directly import from Japan and assembly here, even the user manual was print in Japan, the sim car for GPS also make in Japan.. it look like normal micro sim but when plug in pc, it cannot detect, deep cycle small battery made in japan by panasonic.. Honestly, I very happy with the car so far even just drive for 3days and have go to work.. |

QUOTE(yummymommy @ Nov 14 2015, 02:16 PM) yes, total only 8 yrs if you fullfill the service requirement first 3 yrs by manufacture and next 5yrs by UMW.. discussed before..Beside this improved reduced db in car, improved suspension but not sure on this one as I never drive camry before, from other expertise review it is indeed, guess toyota dont dare to bluff like volkwagen.. |

QUOTE(PugHead @ Dec 10 2015, 10:39 AM) NO engine diasable very dangerous, you might forget after starting without unlocking, and you have no brakes. happened to people who drive with steering locks still on....CRASH!!! Agree.. fortunately for camry hybrid, I found out without depress brake, you wouldn't be able to start the car or pull gear knot out from P.This post has been edited by wongkmc: Dec 10 2015, 01:12 PM |
