helllo everyone, im new to this thread. I just placed order for a white - fingers crossed that I can get it as the SA told me that it will be on a first come first serve basis - depending on who get the loan approval quickest. lol

This SA told me that they have a 5 car allocation but 7 orders!

Only Camry Hybrid comes with Twin LED Projector for Low-Beam and Multi-Reflector for High-Beam while the older Camry comes with Single HID Projector for Low-Beam and Multi-Reflector for High-Beam.

Also the Auto High-Beam function that was previously in the brochure and in Toyota MY website it's not available in our cars. They took the brochure directly from Thailand and did not edit it properly before printing it out.

This is confirmed and it's Toyota's fault. One Camry Hybrid group is in the midst of suing Toyota for this. Let's hope they get something out of it.

It's a WhatsApp group with our famous car enthusiast in it.
By the way, just to share, one of the guy in the group also shared 2 days ago he has managed to get Mirror Link to work with his car. It's working flawlessly and from the video I can tell you it's just awesome. It's basically you mirror your phone to the centre display. It works horizontally and vertically according to phone's rotation.

He is not sure what the accessories shop did, but what he's aware of they did some rewiring of the DVD-AVN system.

Not sure whether they cut any wire or not, but they did not add in ANY adapter or device to make it work.

It's purely rewiring of the touch screen display unit.

They took out the thing and did the rewiring.

They are now in the midst or getting what the accessories shop did and will pass it to Toyota to get all Camry Hybrid Mirror Link to work.

I will update here when there's an update on it.

Going up cameron without problem.  Even with battery going down to 2 bars, didnot feel significant lost of power.  Coming down just using brake, the battery is up to fully charged.  only used B for 1-2 bend.

I was there also last 2 week ago.

Up via simpang pulai - so powerful n fun
down via tapah - too many pot holes until kancil can potong
