WOW quite a lot of rebate, it is include full NCD refund, mine got 12k+ after 55% NCD included,  trade in vios J 2011 for 44k.. thought can sell little bit higher by my own but time running out, the car arrive sooner than my expectation done deal..

got the car couple day, is very comfort car, my fuel consumption so far only 12km/l??? not sure is follow the car calculate consumption rate.. need to find out exactly how much it can run for one full tank of fuel cost me RM129 @ 2.05 price.?

wanna ask those here it the alarm no sound when you lock/unlock it.. any idea can it set to have buzzer sound?
*
Yet to include 55% rebate. If include, should be ~rm15k+ rebate or net of ~rm160k.

I don't really trust the meter consumption. From the read up, It should be ~750-800km for rm100. Currently on my sonata, the fc is ~ 470km only. If this is true, this will be a great saving to me rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

On the alarm no sound, well my sonata also without sound and similarly my daughter's axia alarm also without sound. Probably new trend after 2011? biggrin.gif

Front bar + rear bar will do.
Basic setup will improve your handling.

Spend some money on getting some soundproofing parts, like foaming, orsen shield etc.
*
I did UR rear & front H bar on my much older Civic FD b4 my sonata. Well tremendous improvement on handling for sure BUT you have to forgo the quiet & softer ride thereafter. A year after installing, I decided to removed the front H Bar to reduce the road noises & hard suspension.. well this minimise abit but not much and I carried the hard rear suspension till I disposed off the car 4 years ago for Sonata.

So my suggestion.. if only u willing to forgo the softer & quiet ride, try not to add those bars

If your car has good suspension, the bars should not affect your suspension.
Perhaps Honda Civic has poor suspension setup.
Camry has better suspension than Civic. That's for sure.

For my case, I have quieter ride after installing the strut bars, especially when I cross the hump.
By the way, I use spring buffers too.
You can install spring buffer  (remember, get the premium grade spring buffer, never get those "red-color" cheap buffers. It makes huge difference).
*
Well anything that improved the handling for sure will result in less comfortable ride. You might forgotten your much comfortable ride b4 the installation. On my sonata, which is having better handling than Civic (Confirmed), I did not ass any UR but 1.5 year after owning, I changed to bigger 18" rim and this resulted in an overall much better handling BUT the bad thing - the comfort level also gone cry.gif

I have decided not to add any UR or even switch to bigger RIM once I get my new Camry this Sunday sweat.gif

Now already thinking to replacement the k& n filter as 1st upgrade plan. Anyone of u did this? If yes do share the shop & price

Wah..avg 20km/ltr is darm good. Since getting the car yday, my best was 18.6km/ltr.

This Morning I traveled 40km to my work place i.e mixture of 75% hway & 25% roads wth traffics. Only managed 16.6km/ltr.

My avg speed this morning was ~100km to 120km/hr

I'd utilized the motor and battery during city drive. You'd be able to squeeze more KM off your battery if you used them to cruise/maintain your speed rather than slowly start of with the motor until the engine kicks in. Less stress to the motor itself I guess as maintain the speed of a 1.6t camry is much 'easier' for the motor rather than moving it from a stop. I'd manage to cruise at 75 km/h in EV mode on a leveled road.  rclxm9.gif

I guess it's just little adjustments to my driving habits but, worthwhile esp in city drive.  thumbup.gif

Probably less saving as my highway ratio higher. On the way bck managed to clock 17.1km/ltr.

hey guys, any idea how much the camry hybrid maintenance is like?
*
Taken from Msia Camry Hybrid Club fb. Not bad if u choose normal lube. Really depending on the lube u choose.

For 1k km service & 5k km service, i probable choose the cheaper package. No point using semi/ full syn for such a short duration

how about the maintenance so fa r?
and the fuel economy when 100% city ?
*
I'm still new after getting the car last week. For maintenance cost, I have posted the maintenance chart earlier. u might want to refer to the chart few post above. If talking about super jam, I refreshed my FC consumption this afternoon and on the way back from SS2@ via LDP towards Puchong during super peak hr @ 6pm, my FC dropped from the avg of 16.8km/Ltr last few days to 12.5km/ltr ..well abit sad but still much better than my 2nd car- Axia i.e when 100% city drive even without jam only managed to avg 11km/ltr doh.gif

Currently I hv reached 600KM mark and my fuel meter is almost touching 1/4 line. I'm expecting ~850KM on this RM100KM of fuel. Compare this to my other Axia -RM50- max ~280-300km of fuel. Vs Camry Hybrid -If RM50 can get ~425KM nod.gif

Toyota is already well known worldwide f III retry it's durability & reliability . Only their the past 1decade they suffered badly because of the old technology & the uncle looks.

If they have refreshed their technology & look 4 years ago, I should have choose Camry rather than my recent trade off sonata yf

yes, total only 8 yrs if you fullfill the service requirement first 3 yrs by manufacture and next 5yrs by UMW.. discussed before..
Beside this improved reduced db in car, improved suspension but not sure on this one as I never drive camry before, from other expertise review it is indeed, guess toyota dont dare to bluff like volkwagen..
*
From many reviews I saw in youtube, the battery pack actually further improved the rear handling. Well I can compared this to my traded off sonata yf. Sonata is having almost similar stiff & hard suspension as Honda. However this Camry hybrid is having softer setup & we will expect so so handling. To my surprise, the handling ¡f this hybrid is much better than sonata minus the hard feel going thru uneven or humpy road. Furthermore much much lesser road noises rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

honestly I have no complaints with shorty posting and sharing. because its well targeted . camry items posted in camry thread directed at camry owners.

if he profits from it, what concern is that to you ? our main concern should be sharing and helping out fellow owners. do u feel his info is not pretty useful or serious ?

and before someone accuess me of being a dupe because I registered this account recently, no I am not his dupe.
*
Yes well targeted & leading people to his shop. This is very obvious spamming by way of so called "sharing " if he post similar style in travel & living, he will Be suspended by now
