guys, Im planning to get the new Camry as well. Actually Im aiming for 2.0G, but all SA keep pushing hybrid to me. Im not really concern about the price hence just difference not more than rm200 for monthly installment. But Im concerning about hybrid engine parts durability after 3yrs warranty. Aside from going in and out service centre, concern might need to forkout huge sum for each faulty part occur. However I do like the awesome FC and full accessories in hybrid, but I also dont mind getting a less accessories 2.0G with conservative engine. Now Im in dilemma choosing either one. Would appreciate any kind advise here...
My thought would be the toyota hybrid should be quite mature by now. It has been in market for more than 10 years by now?
What i am more concern would be the skill level the local service center on maintaining those car for the owner. Since toyota hybrid car has been in malaysia for quite a fe years now i think shouldnt be any problem.
I would go for hybrid version since it is value for money in malaysia if compare with others model. Others model are just overprice and i wont buy.
Since the camry hybrid is ckd and very new in malaysia, we still wouldnt know what kind of issue it might created. But i believe in toyota technology and toyota is very conservative company, they wouldnt has launch a technology which is not yet proven to be realible enuf. People always bashing toyota for their old but reliable technology but i like them for not simply put a not proven tech into the car. What i can see from their previous model are all realiable car, vios, altis, camry, judging from the feedback i get from my friend that drive toyota.
