May I know how long you waited to get ur car after you place ur order? I am still waiting for my SA to get back to me, he cannot confirm now because he told me Toyota HQ will do the allocation at the beginning of the month???

initially planned to use the new car for coming long weekend during Deepavali, seems like this is not going to happen. sad.gif

Got my car within 2 weeks of my booking. That also because the colour that I want don't have ready stock. Ready stock car should be no problem. Plus, maybe they have a lot of ready stock because they are doing roadshows everywhere. Last time at Aeon Bukit Tinggi, upcoming Setia Alam Mall.

Try to go to other sales centre.

Yes bro, obviously would shift gear to P before turning off the engine, but in my case still doesn't auto unlock so it is very weird.
*
Yeah. Weird. The old camru all have auto unlock when turn off the engine. Would be in my comment list to toyota.

it does have this feature. u have to go to ur center console unit to do the settings, of either autounlock the drivers side or all doors after u shift to P.
*
Yup, you can change the door lock setting at the navigation system. Just go to 'vehicle settings'. Plus, you can also refer to the owner's manual pg. 140.

Got my ride 3 days ago and I straight away went into experiment mode. The claimed FC of 5.2L/100km or 19.23 km/L is achievable I guess. But for my case it's mix highway and city drive condition.

Attached Image Attached Image

The recorded best of 20km/L for one trip that I got was from Cheras to Klang.

Today, I got even better, 23.5km/L from klang to petaling jaya but I think it's due to the clear road conditions today.. haha..

tested. no problem

My SA told mentioned that the engine already 'brake in' the factory. But, who knows. To be safe, just stick to the general "breaking your new Toyota" advice in the owners manual. After all, hybrids does have a 'normal engine' like any other car. Just don't push it like your driving an 86 for the 1st 1000km and try to avoid using the auto-cruise within the breaking period..

Wah..avg 20km/ltr is darm good. Since getting the car yday, my best was 18.6km/ltr.

This Morning I traveled 40km to my work place i.e mixture of 75% hway & 25% roads wth traffics. Only managed 16.6km/ltr.

My avg speed this morning was ~100km to 120km/hr

I'd utilized the motor and battery during city drive. You'd be able to squeeze more KM off your battery if you used them to cruise/maintain your speed rather than slowly start of with the motor until the engine kicks in. Less stress to the motor itself I guess as maintain the speed of a 1.6t camry is much 'easier' for the motor rather than moving it from a stop. I'd manage to cruise at 75 km/h in EV mode on a leveled road. rclxm9.gif

I guess it's just little adjustments to my driving habits but, worthwhile esp in city drive. thumbup.gif

did u feel when we brake then can hear humming noise with radio off? i feel that humming noise annoyed.. complaint to sc they say normal.. haihz
*
Yup, it's very normal for a hybrid or electric car. If sound is too apparent, might want to check it out but during normal operation, it's gonna be there.
