Well guys, I just want to liven up this thread cause can say almost mati already.

So this is my experience of owning the car for less than a year (but around 60k++ km, yes I travel alot)

1. Comfort is there but due to tyre size, it's not perfect.
2. Wind noise is bad at cruise speeds due to side mirror design, gibon door sound insulation rubber helps abit, but I lost mine as it came out 
3. EV to Engine/Charge jerk is obvious and abit scary when car is stationary at P (even with handbrake engaged) and mildly obvious when you're at around 70-80kmh
4. Power is there, but sadly limited to 195km/h, I've yet to see any car workshop being able to bypass this top speed limiter.
5. You can't enjoy the JBL sound system if you use the usb/radio, use your phone/bluetooth and run good music apps (eQu for iOS and jetaudio for android), use equalizers and feel that bass babeh. 
5. Door rattling has begun, but mostly my bad cause I love to blast music in the car (level 43-53), must send back to SC to get it fixed.
6. Regenerative braking is fun and rewarding, but dangerous during peak hours as you'll instinctively not slam the brakes hard enough lol.
7. No complains on handling, it's a big car after all, I only use it on the highways flying all the time 
And now, what i've seen other users do to their hybrids;

1. 19" rims and body kits
2. Aftermarket suspensions and coil overs, reduce height to almost VIP style
3. Dual exhaust (i don't know why) 
4. Ultra racing bars

Anyone know the market value of the car? I checked with 2nd hand car dealer, it should be range from 55k to 65k. However, many private seller is selling at 70k.

No hybrid in the upcoming launching. And both 2.0 & 2.5 cc are with old engines. Not new

The new designed Camry to be brought in here is fitted with 10yrs old engine lah. Not clearing old engine but they will be fitted with old engines. Most probably due to cost!

Those in Thailand is fitted with new tgna engines

The question now is, at a starting price from RM190k with a base 2.5l engine. Who in the right mind in UMW made the decision to price this car so high and who do they expect to buy it? Are they crazy or is the public crazy enough to shell out around RM30k more for a car that went for as low as RM150k before the launch of this?

I’ve driven the new CAMRY hybrid in July 2018 when it was newly launched in Australia.

Nice car to drive with lots of perks - autonomous emergency breaking, radar cruise control etc etc. love the boot space as the battery resides under the rear seats and it doesn’t take up any boot space. I achieve around 4-5l /km when driving around town and highway. It’s a bit unfair comparison as I hardly use the AC as the weather there was perfect!

Very sad to see that Toyota Malaysia is using the old engine and not much of tech stuff.

190k is so close to bmw merc already.
Maybe next bmw and merc expecting to hike as well.
