I installed a pedal lock for my camry already. Bought from GLS Auto for RM450. Looks quite good and solid.

Bro, ur locktech double lock function working? Means can't start car unless unlock it?

Yes, it works and it looks slick as well. Better get it as popular new cars usually are targetted for parts.

This is the locktech, there are many similar brands but the ori is made is Thailand and the key has Thai wordings. I went to the local assessories shop here and they say the locktech model they have can fit the Camry but the push start disable feature is not working coz the wire not suitable. Have to wait for new batch to arrive.
*
Yeah, thats the one. But mine has the push start disable feature. BoUght it in GLS Auto USJ 7.

I have the car for almost 2 months.. Wife drives it for work and i drive only during weekends.. So far about 2800 mileage and no problem.. Happy with it..
For those young owners, when i was 25, i was only driving a Mazda 3. Money used on property investment and worked out for me.. Now relatively comfortable.. I hope u guys save some money for investment in this current economy..

Hi,

The sound is not on high pitch, it's hard to describe in word, let me try to "spell" it out here... it's sound like "uuuuuuuuhhmmm...." when brake gradually from 40kmh to near standstill / standstill, especially on slowing down on the speed bump, slowing down when approaching traffic light, it's sound like the star-war space ship landing.

I thought it sounded cool.. 😊

I think the reason why we are getting so much goodies in the Camry Hybrid is because they need to price this car higher than their 2.0. So instead of selling a basic hybrid camry at 120k, they pumped up the car with so many goodies to sell at 175k. The similar car specs in Thailand even though thailand also have hybrid incentives cost Rm210k. I think this car is a steal.

Just have to upgrade the tail lamp to the 3rd party LED type and that will surely change the looks of the whole rear side.

Its been some time since i posted.. Was one of the early contributors here, believe that my camry was almost the first one, registered Apr 8. So, its been more than a year using this car, about 18k mileage. Average FC 14km/L.. Full city drive. Furthest driven is JB. So far, very solid. No noise, nothing rattling, quiet car.. While driving to JB recently, didnt notice i was driving 180km/h. Very smooth and quiet.. Satisfied owner. Only hiccup was my SA who promised me a Qi wireless charger adapter for my iphone and never delivered.. But i dun care la.. Most Toyota SA are like that..
