QUOTE(e-dee @ Nov 9 2015, 04:00 PM) I'd utilized the motor and battery during city drive. You'd be able to squeeze more KM off your battery if you used them to cruise/maintain your speed rather than slowly start of with the motor until the engine kicks in. Less stress to the motor itself I guess as maintain the speed of a 1.6t camry is much 'easier' for the motor rather than moving it from a stop. I'd manage to cruise at 75 km/h in EV mode on a leveled road. I guess it's just little adjustments to my driving habits but, worthwhile esp in city drive. Probably less saving as my highway ratio higher. On the way bck managed to clock 17.1km/ltr.

Various settings can be selected for door locking and unlocking.
I set mine to lock when I shift out of P.
Unlock all doors if I open driver door from inside(if engine is on, only driver door is unlock. A little inconvenient)
From outside the handle sensor will only unlock driver door. As I normally don't have passengers. Default is unlock all doors. When I have others riding with me then use remote to unlock.

3rd service they used synthetic oil. Switched from where I bought and now they don't overfill the oil. Was able to get below 5l/100km for a few drive. But only possible if it is is flat road with more than 10km distance.

Really depending on the lube u choose. For 1k km service & 5k km service, i probable choose the cheaper package. No point using semi/ full syn for such a short duration Attached thumbnail(s)

My dad likes the accord shape but after testing. He says the accord is noisier and mom feel the accord too bouncy. So at the end chose the camry hybrid. Power wise my dad says the accord doesnt feel lively. Coz he is used to driving my mum w204 cgi. U have to go and test drive the car to see which suits ur requirement. If u want style over comfort then the accord. If u don mind the uncle looking exterior and the normal layout of the interior the camry should fit in

QUOTE(hondakawa @ Nov 13 2015, 09:01 PM) how about the maintenance so fa r? and the fuel economy when 100% city ? I'm still new after getting the car last week. For maintenance cost, I have posted the maintenance chart earlier. u might want to refer to the chart few post above. If talking about super jam, I refreshed my FC consumption this afternoon and on the way back from SS2@ via LDP towards Puchong during super peak hr @ 6pm, my FC dropped from the avg of 16.8km/Ltr last few days to 12.5km/ltr ..well abit sad but still much better than my 2nd car- Axia i.e when 100% city drive even without jam only managed to avg 11km/ltr Currently I hv reached 600KM mark and my fuel meter is almost touching 1/4 line. I'm expecting ~850KM on this RM100KM of fuel. Compare this to my other Axia -RM50- max ~280-300km of fuel. Vs Camry Hybrid -If RM50 can get ~425KM

Toyota is already well known worldwide f III retry it's durability & reliability . Only their the past 1decade they suffered badly because of the old technology & the uncle looks.
If they have refreshed their technology & look 4 years ago, I should have choose Camry rather than my recent trade off sonata yf

Now im itchy itchy wanna install front camera (not dashcam) to look at two corners of the front bumpers
Reason: driving in some multi storey car parks wth very tight turning radius
Scared will scratch the bumper or the rim - (for precaution)
- checked on youtube n saw one suzuki swift install one at side mirror looking down at the front tyre
- plan to have one cam installed at the front grille to see the two front corners (cam acailable in market is 170deg max?) to avoid hitting the kerbs at multi storey carparks
Any comments?
