Yes bro, obviously would shift gear to P before turning off the engine, but in my case still doesn't auto unlock so it is very weird.

Yeah. Weird. The old camru all have auto unlock when turn off the engine. Would be in my comment list to toyota.

What is weird?

Do you switch off the engine without going to gear P hmm.gif

Here's my setting I done on center console icon_idea.gif

When I move my gear to P position, my door unlocks automatically.

When I move my car @ 20 Km speed, door auto locks...

That's it la! haha

Need to go to the centre console and set.

I thought the Console just for audio, GPS and reverse camera laugh.gif

Haven't really got time to do setting.

Anyone has like a step-by-step guide on how to change it thru the centre console? Like what to press and stuff would be much appreciated thumbup.gif

Anyone here is experiencing alignment issues? My steering is pulling to the left. Sent the car in to the service centre to fix but the problem remains.

Yup, you can change the door lock setting at the navigation system. Just go to 'vehicle settings'. Plus, you can also refer to the owner's manual pg. 140.

Got my ride 3 days ago and I straight away went into experiment mode. The claimed FC of 5.2L/100km or 19.23 km/L is achievable I guess. But for my case it's mix highway and city drive condition.

Attached Image Attached Image

The recorded best of 20km/L for one trip that I got was from Cheras to Klang.

Today, I got even better, 23.5km/L from klang to petaling jaya but I think it's due to the clear road conditions today.. haha..

Wah..avg 20km/ltr is darm good. Since getting the car yday, my best was 18.6km/ltr.

This Morning I traveled 40km to my work place i.e mixture of 75% hway & 25% roads wth traffics. Only managed 16.6km/ltr.

My avg speed this morning was ~100km to 120km/hr

Do you think it is safe for the car to travel from KL to PG within 1 - 2 days after receiving the car?

My SA told mentioned that the engine already 'brake in' the factory. But, who knows. To be safe, just stick to the general "breaking your new Toyota" advice in the owners manual. After all, hybrids does have a 'normal engine' like any other car. Just don't push it like your driving an 86 for the 1st 1000km and try to avoid using the auto-cruise within the breaking period..

I'd utilized the motor and battery during city drive. You'd be able to squeeze more KM off your battery if you used them to cruise/maintain your speed rather than slowly start of with the motor until the engine kicks in. Less stress to the motor itself I guess as maintain the speed of a 1.6t camry is much 'easier' for the motor rather than moving it from a stop. I'd manage to cruise at 75 km/h in EV mode on a leveled road. rclxm9.gif

I guess it's just little adjustments to my driving habits but, worthwhile esp in city drive. thumbup.gif

My car is on the way

1) i dun hv problem with no sound of armed alarm coz my other cars also no sound when alarm is armed. I also rent many cars from Hertz and i dun remember any armed beeps, it has become immaterial to me.

I just listen to the mechanical latching before i walk away.

Yes having the beep is reassuring.

*Panic button is good to have. Dun remember any cars that i drove with this panic button recently. Mostly i remember is lock, unlock and open the boot.

2) i would rather manually unlock the door even after turn off engine. Coz i need to take stuffs etc and make sure that it is safe before i unlock.

Auto-lock after car is moving is ok, anyway i always lock my door before start engine

3) i m not really a fan of wooden finish. I think aluminium finish is classy, wooden is very unker laugh.gif

4) plan to get TPMS - surveyed 2 types.

Blaupunkt with cigarette power outlet plug in which has a usb port
- 8 sensors (plan to use on 2 cars) and swap the monitor unit to whichever car i drive
- problem: occupying the ciggy outlet n need to remove it before closing the cover

Fobo - no monitoring unit, using apps in smartphone. Only 4 sensors.

Anyone using? comments? unsure.gif
