QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Aug 23 2015, 10:03 PM) Top speed is limited at 185kph. Power is then cut off even if you keep the accelerator to the floor. You probably touched 190 while going down a slope as the power is cut off. I tested the hybrid on mex. wind noise crept in above 140 and becomes unbearable near the limiter. Not sure if my test drive car was poorly assembled or the wind was particularly strong that day. At 185kph, the car feels floaty and disconnected from the road probably that's the reason they put a speed limiter. It should not dampen a potential buyer's interest anyway as it was never marketed as a sports sedan or meant to be driven at such speeds. QUOTE(naven6263 @ Aug 24 2015, 11:17 AM) I've touched about 160+km/h on the East Coast highway. It was easily done....but I do agree with you that wind noise was bad after 140. Doesn't really annoy me as I rarely drive that fast. I have to say that the handling of the car on the Karak is very impressive, and I feel much more confident taking the sloping corners than my previous car which was a 2008 Civic FD2. Of course these corners are not taken at extremely high speeds.....more like from 80 to 120 km/hr. Did u guys driving with mute sound all the time ? i did notice the noise from the hybridbattery vent have noticeable sound (turbinwhinning) after 120km/h. but normally i drive with music one, so never bother me This post has been edited by lexanoir: Aug 24 2015, 12:27 PM

QUOTE(Omnipotent @ Aug 24 2015, 03:33 PM) yea, i was testing the NVH so i turned off the music. the whirring "turbine" sound is also heard when moving from a stop or coming to a stop. also there's an annoying "click" sound whenever you press the brake pedal. Yea bro, you can test with totally silence but lets not too technical. Must be practical abit ma , as we normal drive with music on one. Nothing is perfect, since you already bought the car, why let urself get annoyed by some of its flaw with unpractical test, it NVH already best in class compare to most of car. suffer le if keep pick bone within the eggs By the way, im totally in love with this car surround system, that one of the selling point for me This post has been edited by lexanoir: Aug 24 2015, 05:29 PM

[quote=calvinbulin3238,May 24 2016, 01:59 PM] Guys, for those of you are owning this camry hybrid, would like to check a few things below:-
1) How is the performance of this car given that it is 205 hp? How is the pick up? 0-100? [COLOR=red] Superb , 8sec~
2) Heard a lot of noise from this car posted in here... so do you guys still recommend this car to buy? [COLOR=red] depend on luck, theres some user who experience this , but half of it doesnt. sometime is caused by improper placement of item inside , etc coin key clip plastic that cause the sound
3) I haven't test drive yet, but I check online that this car does not have power mode compared to prius hybrid, so is the power ok ? [COLOR=red] try urself at SC, product speak.
4) If full load of passenger, will this car underpower if the battery hybrd is low and using ful petrol only? [COLOR=red] its intelligent, will switch to petrol once exceed 1500 rpm
5) Heard the boot space is very limited due to the hybrid battery, is it true? [COLOR=red] try urself at SC, for me alway drive on 2 pac, its enough , if 5 luggage sure die
6) How is the sound system of this car? Is there any woofer built-in given it says 10 speakers. [COLOR=red] try urself at SC, product speak.
7) do you think any facelift will be coming up or new model of this car? [COLOR=red] what a stupid quetsion , sure new model will come in time, but not soon
I am have yet to test drive this car but thought of changing it given i want a hybrid car. Currently using my Altis 2.0v specs. So far my car no problem but just wanted to change to this car in view that this car is hybrid and review says it is powerful and fuel economical.
So guys driving, how is it?
[COLOR=red] try urself at SC, product speak.
Please comment.
[COLOR=red] try urself at SC, product speak. once u go test and the moment u switch on the power , u will know what a Hybrid was so COOL about

QUOTE(Michelleng @ May 26 2016, 09:18 PM) Im not sure any of you experiencing this. But if after turning off the engine, perhaps like after a minute has lapsed, you could hear the brake switching turning on and off with some vacuum sound. Another thing, I would like to ask anybody has rattling sounds coming from front left passenger side? It's normal as the hybrid system are on standby . So u might hear sound. Rattling get sod on dashboard mostlydia cause by tiny item . Try clear entire thing out and gv a try. Sometime a clip is the cause

QUOTE(Michelleng @ May 28 2016, 03:50 PM) I've cleared everything out from the the drawer as well as centre armrest. Yet still rattling. Where r the normal rattling source? Its depend on luck ,some user did experience rattling due to loose clip / screw. for me im lucky my car din have any sound at all, there time where it have some sound its because i put name card on handle there ,and it vibrate when driving high speed ( found out the casue after month)
