QUOTE(nkhong @ Jul 4 2015, 12:18 AM) Does the sound come consistently for your case? Mine is only intermittent, not everytime when over the bumpy road or cornering. QUOTE(viper83 @ Jul 3 2015, 08:03 AM) It's like low vibrating sound at the meter panel. The service center say it's from a plastic panel below the steering wheel which they already put some extra insulation. But for me the sound came back again after a while especially on bumpy roads and cornering. I already told them again and they ask to bring back to them for further check. Looks like there is no end to this issue yet. They clocked some 250km The sound comes when you are driving on uneven/rough surface road at around 40 to 60km/h. Gonna send in again to get it check. |

guys, Im planning to get the new Camry as well. Actually Im aiming for 2.0G, but all SA keep pushing hybrid to me. Im not really concern about the price hence just difference not more than rm200 for monthly installment. But Im concerning about hybrid engine parts durability after 3yrs warranty. Aside from going in and out service centre, concern might need to forkout huge sum for each faulty part occur. However I do like the awesome FC and full accessories in hybrid, but I also dont mind getting a less accessories 2.0G with conservative engine. Now Im in dilemma choosing either one. Would appreciate any kind advise here...

QUOTE(viper83 @ Jul 7 2015, 09:55 AM) haha very nice, high tech ....how much was the installation charges? I guess there is no standard charge for installation, all depends on how well is the relationship with installer. In my case I did the undercarriage autofoam and firewall sound proofing so the installation was bundled .at least some owners got a rough estimation of wat to expect The TPMS requires power supply and the HUD is getting the power straight from ODB2 port so no power tapping required however the display panel is built for LHR so modification is needed in order to get it mounted on right hand speaker cover. Would appreciate any kind advise here... My thought would be the toyota hybrid should be quite mature by now. It has been in market for more than 10 years by now? What i am more concern would be the skill level the local service center on maintaining those car for the owner. Since toyota hybrid car has been in malaysia for quite a fe years now i think shouldnt be any problem. I would go for hybrid version since it is value for money in malaysia if compare with others model. Others model are just overprice and i wont buy. Since the camry hybrid is ckd and very new in malaysia, we still wouldnt know what kind of issue it might created. But i believe in toyota technology and toyota is very conservative company, they wouldnt has launch a technology which is not yet proven to be realible enuf. People always bashing toyota for their old but reliable technology but i like them for not simply put a not proven tech into the car. What i can see from their previous model are all realiable car, vios, altis, camry, judging from the feedback i get from my friend that drive toyota. |
