QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 26 2015, 08:56 PM) How you applied? Via CIMBClicks? In my case, CIMB agent called out of nowhere saying wanna send the cash rebate card. But he didn't mention about TnG zing card. Checked on website oso didn't say it'll come in combo.

QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 26 2015, 10:48 PM) No use. You'll be charged RM 10.60 for it. You need to call CS to CANCEL the card so that this RM 10.60 will be reversed! Noted. Thanks for the info!

QUOTE(sonotme @ Jul 16 2015, 06:51 PM) i know right. I use it as a backup, CIMB's promotion not as attractive for me compared to maybank's amex. but now amex's cashback.. plus mbb amex foreign exchange rate has hit the ceiling lately. can save more with CIMB CR now. still waiting for mine to arrive though. been two weeks since they posted it out.

Just in time when MBB retracts cash back on AMEX. so i just say yes straight away. supposed to arrive this week but i guess pos malaysia been busy. i'll wait for another one or two weeks before i give them a call if i still don't receive it during that time.

QUOTE(lee1234 @ Sep 10 2015, 03:37 PM) Sounds interesting. I have payroll into my SA, if I converted it to my CA, am I eligible? you need to convert from CASA to payroll account to be eligible. Still waiting for more details from @fruitie. There might be some catch that aren't mentioned in TnC when you convert from CASA to payroll acc. The TnC on the campaign itself are very straight forward though.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Sep 11 2015, 05:12 PM) for those whose salary already being paid into their cimb account automatically not qualified right? for those who credit their salary into normal CIMB/CIMBI CASA, eligible. for those who already credit their salary into CIMB@Work payroll CASA acc, ineligible. payroll acc is when you're a customer under this CIMB@Work branding. you can try reread Clause 3 & 4 in TnC.

QUOTE(koinibler @ Oct 12 2015, 04:31 PM) Its a cross border fee. hotel is not in Malaysia QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Oct 12 2015, 08:39 PM) CIMB, Standard Chartered and HLB charge cross border fee on ringgit transaction that uses overseas gateway. Example of website that use non-local payment gateway include Agoda, Expedia, Dell, PayPal, Apple Store, Living Social. For Agoda, it doesn't matter if hotel is in Malaysia or not. I've stopped using cimb cashback for online transaction unless I'm very sure the website uses local payment gateway. ah. Coz i thought the website is based locally. Thanks for clarifications guys.
