I'm also just got RM75 (15%) for welcome promo after 4 month (promise around 3 month). My first statement is on 28 April.
Just want to call them and ask about this but quick check on cimbclick show the welcome bonus.  rclxms.gif

Just got it yesterday as well. My first statement was on 28 May. I also only got RM75. I wonder why CIMB doesn't give the whole amount promised. I think I satisfy all the conditions.

The 5% extra is given if you upload all supporting documents within 24 hours. CIMBClicks is lousy.

I did upload within 24 hours. I uploaded several time on CIMB Clicks and in fact sent through email as well. The website is pretty stupid IMHO. It didn't indicate if the upload was successful or not. Haih. vmad.gif

Are you purchase through app?
i think if with website it dont hv cross border charge

Many online retailers have payment gateways that are not based in Malaysia. So even for ringgit transaction, cimb charge cross border fees. Try to check for the list of online retailers in forex rate for credit card forum.

Made a hotel booking thru hotel.com last weeekend and ended with roughly 0.8% higher charge in my cc, compared to the booking price. Any charge from cimb that i miss out here? I made the booking in MYR.

CIMB, Standard Chartered and HLB charge cross border fee on ringgit transaction that uses overseas gateway.

Example of website that use non-local payment gateway include Agoda, Expedia, Dell, PayPal, Apple Store, Living Social.

For Agoda, it doesn't matter if hotel is in Malaysia or not.

I've stopped using cimb cashback for online transaction unless I'm very sure the website uses local payment gateway.
