Saw that there's instant approval in Paradigm Mall. Any other place has instant approval? Thanks

Edit: Is 20% cash back still on for card applied via CIMB Clicks?

anybody who hasn't gotten their sms transaction alert on their spendings lately? after my credit limit change, i no longer get any notifications. gave a call to their CS and they said the minimum is rm100, any amount lower is not possible because it costs the bank for sms :facepalm
*
Sometimes only. I thought BNM made it compulsory for banks to send sms for every transaction? Not sure if I remember correctly.

Nah. For my HLB MACH, I will need to walk in to nearest branch to apply for SMS triggers. doh.gif

That's why. I think we should report.

Well...
Based on the criteria set by the Bank, the principal card members will receive the SMS alert for transaction(s) on their credit cards including supplementary card(s). Card members who travel overseas may incur international roaming charges.

HLB has SMS triggers function, but you will need to walk-in to activate it. That's their "criteria". laugh.gif

Typical Malaysian banks. I also went to "activate" the alert.

10% is for CIMB card rebate. I also just purchased some stuff there, but using App rebate code so it's fine. Discount cannot be applied twice.

Oops. I was referring to Maybank. tongue.gif
However, I think my CIMB is also set to RM 1. biggrin.gif

Anyway, will call to cancel my CIMB CR tomorrow.

But wait, just checked out Eraman's deal. hmm.gif

The duty free privileges apply to a wide range of merchandise, such as fragrances, cosmetics, chocolates, liquor, fashion apparels and accessories. CIMB Bank cardmembers such as Visa Signature, Platinum, Gold, Classic, Debit and Kwik cards will continue to enjoy 10% discount in these categories while CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite cardmembers continue to benefit from 15% discount on their duty free purchases. Additionally, this premier card privilege of 15% discount has been extended to include CIMB WORLD MasterCard and Visa INFINITE cardmembers.

In addition to the 10% and 15% discounts at duty free outlets, CIMB Bank cardmembers can now get 15% discount at ERAMAN’s other Retail and Dining outlets such as Swarovski, Thomas Sabo, Oroton, Kipling, Barbara Rihl, Bibik Heritage, Gloria Jean's Coffee, Pasta Mania, Bar Metropole and many more.

Cardmembers can enjoy these extensive discounts at ERAMAN duty free, dining and retail outlets at various locations, namely Kuala Lumpur International Airport, KLIA2, Penang International Airport, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Kuching International Airport and Sultan Ismail Petra, Kota Bharu Airport.

Is this outright discount from the bill? Or charge full amount first then rebate? Thanks.

I went on a weekend (cause I go to pyramid almost every weekend), and since I do not have EPF, I couldn't get my card. The guy did tell me that if I do contribute EPF, I can get my card within 1 hour on that day itself. So I'm pretty sure they approve cards on weekends if you have EPF.
As far as I know.
Pavilion KL (Lot 2.52.00, Level 2 Porte Cochere, near valet parking; 11am to 5pm daily)
Sunway Pyramid, PJ (1.13, First Floor, near Burger King; 10am to 5pm daily)
Suria KLCC, KL (Lot C04 & C05, Concourse Floor, Lot C, beside KFC; 10am to 5pm daily)

This is from their Islamic CC website though, but I recall on the free gift upon CC approval flyer, there are these 3 listed there.

I think CIMB Pavilion KL is no longer there. Asked pavilion CS before.

RM 10 and RM 15. I think I will skip? laugh.gif
I haven't really looked into this yet. biggrin.gif
Yes, 5% for online transactions but bear in mind the cap is RM 30 for online transactions and RM 20 is for other retail transaction.
In a way, the maximum you can spend for online is only RM 600.

Perhaps TnG reload 4 times at Sam's Grocer? biggrin.gif

I didnt receive the SMS. Anyway, only 2.5%.
