hey, guys, i hope that i posted in the right section because i cant find any appropriate section to make my query.

Hey guys, i approached this customer service agent, this agent also macam make me blur blur. so i decided to ask here.
i saw this on the website
View your CIMB Bank Singapore account – transactions history, pending transactions
Perform fund transfer to your own CIMB Bank Singapore accounts
Perform fund transfer to 3rd party CIMB Bank Singapore accounts
Schedule fund transfers to own or 3rd party CIMB Bank Singapore accounts
Pay bills to Singapore billers
Schedule bill payments to Singapore billers

so my question is when i register CIMB SG account, can singaporean transfer/deposit fund to your CIMB SG account and then u transfer back the money to Malaysia? i know paypal can but i wanna little more on CIMB singapore. Thanks. notworthy.gif

CIMB Cash Rebate has no annual fees.
GST is already no longer applicable from 1st April onward, so this card is free for life.

All cards have no more GST. So if no annual fees, then free of charge.
Else you have to pay for annual fees + 6% GST if it is not waivable.

just realised that my transactions done on paypal will be charged 0.8 percent irrespective of ringgit or usd.

i guess that's because i was charged in ringgit instead of usd when i made my purchase

That should be called cross border charge right?

CIMB won't absorb this.

That's cross border charge, even you buy an iPhone via Apple Store charged in MYR still has this cross border charge. I think even if we buy from Apple online Malaysia store, it still goes through Singapore.

yep cross border fee. somehow, cimb converted the usd to ringgit first before charging the cc and so i got d cross border fee. my other cc usually charged the cc in usd then only convert.

by right there won't be any cross border fees if we pay in foreign currency

I'm not really sure about this, but I think the price shown on the link already discounted 10%.

Always make the price comparison because I found the original price in lazada is quite high
