Sifus,

I cant set the GPS coordinates that I wanna go on my Garmin Mobile XT, tried Position & it show WA XXXXX & WMR XXXXX.

How to set them like GPS: 3.125756, 101.609126??
*
go to 'where to' then 'coordinates'.......... then key in the coordinates.... values will be based on N/E as you stated above.
gmxt version 4 and 5 as well as nuvi all same.

I dun really get what u mean...... perhaps u could try the steps mentioned above and u should get the following:

http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo197/l...oo/Screen03.png

You can then input your coordinates and view your desired destination.

Ok, I'll go back to PDA expert and ask them to re-install MapKing. Thanks.

Perhaps thats the best to do...... seems more like software problem.

But b4 reinstalling, have u tried varying the baudrate? Different hardware works better on certain baudrate.

What is baudrate? And how do I change it?
*
Tools>gps settings>baudrate

Since u are able to pick up data stream, your com port is correct. Just try varying different baudrates.
While testing, make sure u are out in the open! smile.gif

if budget is a constraint for standalone systems, just get a Garmin nuvi 200 for RM700. So cheap already now.
Dun buy those chiplak brands.

nhi, I am a new Omnia user, want ask about GPS setting, anyone using Garmin Que, and CCproxy, which guided by Malsing maps?
PLease kindly guide me which port CCOM should i use for my hardware port?
*
Hardware port for omnia is Com 3. Try using this for the proxy settings.
i use garminxt which will automatically detect the gps port, without needing to use a proxy.
For proxy you will have to set it manually.

for newbie users, garmin que is by far the most complicated to install compared to garminXT n mapking. tongue.gif
perhaps you could visit malsing.com n read the installation guide.
