Easier just pop in console and play, don't need install/customize/upgrade. Later on when Steam has sale grab Fallout 4 for PC. Overall for me prefer the convenience to play from day one and not so particular about the graphics.

PSN Asia slacking off again? Can't find anything about Fallout 4 anywhere. US site has the game plus season pass on ages ago.

The game is playable even without the patch IMO. In like countless hours of playing the game (over level 31 now) haven't encountered a game-breaking bug. Though I do save very often.

One awful thing is the lag when getting off elevators, feel like the game freeze/crash but it's just loading the next stage.

Put in workshop (bench, cooking station, armor/weapon bench) and it can be accessed to create things. Hit Triangle. You don't have to scrap one by one.

You can't get 3 trophies for each specific faction (3 total faction) on first playthrough - unless you do a save after "Hunter/Hunted" mission. Then replay again. This was the PITA one for me. I only have 3 trophies left to Platinum.

Platinum done One of the easier ones to do. Now to second playthrough with different build/alignment. The last 1/4 was a tad disappointing for me (story-wise and lack of choice) but overall still a solid Fallout game.

So higher damage weapons like this you get on survival difficulty? Mine all like 100-200 max on normal.

Yeah the guy (Nate) holds the baby if you're female (Nora). Most of the times the references are correct except at the bar at Bunker Hill where they call you a he instead.

How do you play full melee build and deal with 'touchdowns'? I tried for like 15 levels full melee build with 2nd character then started to encounter super mutants and they made paste out of me as I can't get close enough.

Thanks for the tips I'll give it a shot. Been lazy and switch to rifleman + sneak but it is exactly like my 1st playthrough so not challenging & getting boring. 2nd character is better overall though as 1st one wasted a lot of points on somewhat useless perks.

Yeah but I hate using power armor in buildings because the camera goes crazy. Plus there's too much bounce sometimes when moving in a power armor it gets annoying (for me). Tend to go around in a tuxedo + top hat lately after getting ballistic weave

Yes it happen earlier on but I cleared up more space on the system then don't encounter it. It's a bug as there was still a lot of space anyways. The game may max out at 200 total saves anyways? I hook up a thumb drive and just transfer it all there to clear periodically or save on cloud.

If you haven't yet you should go to Bunker Hill soon and do a mission for Kessler (mayor). Simple one where you kill raiders at certain place. Then you can have their caravans that come into your settlements. There's usually one with a Doctor and one trader Cricket (weapons, armor etc) with 400-850 caps and big inventory. There's also an armor guy Lucas and Trashcan Carla ... they wander about anyways but encountering them is just random, not every time you spawn in settlement. Pretty convenient.

Asia still not got the patch? This kind of makes me think they won't even release the DLCs or Season Pass in Asia, like Fallout 3 last time

If you connected your other settlements by supply line if they don't have enough resource (water, food) they will take from other settlements. Mine never dip below 80%

Amount of Food + Water = Defense. But better if defense is more than food + water, just stick turrets everywhere or since you have a lot of people put those guard posts up.

Beds they don't like when line up all together. I make the pre-made metal single hut then put one bed inside + extras like light, TV, lounger. If room place them on opposite walls as far away from each other. They like their space

To get past 80% need to set up those tier-3 shops - only clothing, trader or first aid (not weapons or armor). But getting past 80% is no point unless you want to spam 16 First Aid shops just to get that PITA Benevolent Leader trophy

Only via map click L1 it will show you which settlements connected, don't need connect so many from one point. Like Sanctuary > Abernathy, Sanctuary > Red Rocket, Abernathy > Red Rocket - instead connect one each Sanctuary > Red Rocket > Abernathy then all get supplies and you don't waste an extra settler. If that makes sense.

Lights don't have a number so it just needs to be connected to any power source. Pylon just need to be close to the area but for little huts it is best to use the little conduit that can be pasted onto the wall or the roof. Just need to play around with it with placement.

No choice you have to either choose 2nd option weapon. Either pistol or rifle then take the perk so you can kill them fast. They will slam down immediately or sometimes on followers, other people around so have to keep distance.

Swan so unexpected the first time wasn't prepared. I kind of cheesed it by running around the subway station and then hiding inside the entrance, the guy too tall so he got stuck then pick away at him with a pistol lol

Well they are usually in the open so it is hard to sneak up on them, once they start running they won't stop until they get you. It needs to be one hit? Also preferable to not blow them up to add to your mini-nuke ammo. I didn't have much luck with the melee build and had to put some points into a gun skill before I ventured into the city.

No patch disappointing, also does not bode well for any DLCs. Fallout 3 previously didn't have some of the DLCs released on consoles, have to wait until GOTY (years!) so it's not a new thing done by Bethesda.

I used the pickman knife (upgraded) with melee perk maxed so she got staggered then few shivs in VATS done. Kind of funny to kill all the huge monsters with that little knife.
