I have too many of the same weapon collected and now it's in my safe box what do I do with it?

And

Some pistols come modded should I convert them back to standard pistol and keep the modded parts for my other weapon?

you can sell it or scrap it for materials.

as for mods, depends. what mod is more valuable,

you can save the mods and use it on another gun

even without the proper crafting perk.

missing dialogues first when meeting Preston,
companion missing bugs
sometimes unable to use pip boy when using 3rd person view

oh ok..i play using 1st person. lol. only problem i encounter is hang when getting into lift. need wait 10-20s than only ok.

I think that is normal
it loads your companion in case they never managed to get into lift with you

Try fast travel to any location. You can find dogmeat be with you.

unable to use pip boy sometimes but luckily it resume normal again after i pause game by pressing the option button...
and sometimes too..power armor's headlight will goes to the leg lol...which mean when i turn on my headlight..my leg will have a pair of glowing eyes spotlight lool
