Hi guys, want to ask is it easy to buy a showroom car? Meaning the one they use on display for people touch touch?

I'm thinking of getting a new car but don't want to pay full price. Thinking of just buying the one they put on display.

Any place to find these types of car?
Is it recommended to buy cars like this?

Normally this showroom car or demo car only open to their staff.
Outsiders is hardly get it unless you got related to the staff.

Yes you are right, demo car more discount as the mileage is higher.

You can just directly walk into a showroom and ask if they are interested in selling the showroom car.

go to mudah.my or oto.my and look for "demo" or "pre-reg" cars. most european brands (mercedes, audi, bmw, volvo, vw, jaguar, land rover) offer demo cars with warranty. some are test drive units and others are used by company management, if you're lucky some are just old stocks on discount. volvo has a number of demo cars on sale u can try to google or such on the aforementioned websites. depends on what brand you are looking at.

u actually save quite abit from buying these demo units. can go to showroom to look for cars and ask if any demo units are on sale. my friend got a F30 for RM30k less. mileage was less than 5k km. and driving it, it just feels like new as they cleaned and check everything before delivery and it also comes with standard warranty.

Actually I got consider buying merc demo car. But no point la. Right now I got better things to do with the money. I was considering civic. I'm not really a car person. Prefer to put the money in investments. The day I buy a merc will be the day I pay cash. Take loan waste money only lol
