as per topic.. discuss please

Finance forum not much traffic, that's why asking here.

For those who don't know, laudrybar is basically a coin operated laundromat.

Too many laundry bars everywhere, n mostly empty. Those dobi shops will be badly effected.

FREE WIFI should be password free, dont like starbek got password now. i hate like have to beg for password to access that free wifi. people rather dont use that wifi and do your homework: how to block the wifi outside your business premise whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

oo ok..

to me.. near high rised apt/condo would be good

cos usually singles/new families/short term ppl renting live there n coudnlt be bothered to buy washing machine.

if normal terraced house, families living there most of the time, sure they got washing machine wan.

but still need to go to laundry place cos sometimes need to use larger/industrial grade washer n dryer
heavy blankets n stuff

I can say, it is a very good business. Ara Damansara got a lot of new condo. You should do some survey here. Here, even got a lot of laundrybar, still got so many people use it.

In general coin operated laundry is now very competitive.
You specifically named laundrybar. They are very disorganised, slow, under staffed and mainly like cinapek running the show.

They're usually targeted for people who can't keep washing machine, those who are renting places.

Yeah that is one of the more popular franchises. but i'm sure there are more. I think key is to introduce something different but yet maintaining the competiveness

If you can get a liquor license, why not? But drunken customers may do stupid and cruel things like throwing cats around, or putting them into the washing machines.

as for WiFi . just set the WiFi strength to just 10%
enough to cover ur premise. and not stable enuff for people outside ur premise to abuse it.
