So this means xpax prepaid and celcom postpaid is different? I plan to switch to basic38 and tried the speed/connection with xpax. I thought xpax and celcom postpaid signal is same?

Not your phone problem. Its Celcom. I have the same problem where the data connection is not stable from place to place within the same area. For example, when I moving from Taipan USJ to oneCity to shah alam - I can see that the signal move from 4G to H+ then to 3G then go H+ etc. etc.. If you stay in 1 place, better signal. Even indoors, stay downstairs get E or 3G then go upstairs get 3G and H+. duh...

And when move to KK, the line data is stable. I guess less people.

ya,other telco also have LTE,but seriously celcom first basic 38 having more advantages after compare with other telco..
first celcom is the first network than can bring forward the remaining data from previous month..maximum of 3GB internet can carry forward to next month..plus they also free 50 minutes of call and 50 message which i think is enough for me to use..
quite worth larr this plan..

Just got First Basic 38 from Celcom. Port over from Umobile.

I checked and my area suppose to have good connection according to Celcom's own website.

Very bad decision as connection is super slow compared to Umobile in my area (Bandar Kinrara).

We are talking about speed you get in the 90s.

To those thinking of getting this, better check connection first otherwise you may regret it.

I'll give it a bit more time but it looks like i may port back to Umobile.

Just my 2 cents.

after finish the 3GB,you still can continue to browse, but the speed abit slow la,haha!
but you cam top up with purchase additional internet..additional 1GB for RM15,additional 5GB for RM50..
the price is quite reasonable..
which plan are you using now?
