QUOTE(jackiewong @ May 25 2017, 05:08 PM) There are sales men even offered up to 17k discount but without all those free insurance, RT and free services.. Do you know any SA that have those offer? Best i could get as of now is 12k discount (free insurance) for KX variant. Mom currently set between Vento 1.6 Allstar or Cerato 1.6, but more towards Vento due to "solid feel". As I own conti car myself, trying to persuade her to go the safer route with korean as she tends to use same car for 10+ years. Anyone tested both KX and SX variant? Does it differ much in term of noise level as i see KX is missing insulation at front hood. Only 1.6 SX available for test drive, and she's not interested with extras in SX variant. QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Jun 12 2017, 09:21 PM) That day I dropped by Sri rampai's Kia showroom, thinking of test driving the cerato. Was told by the sales guy that there is no test driving for Kia. If want to test, need to make arrangements. Wth? Which means I have to come back another day. Is this true? If I insist to have a test Drive, I can only drive the car in their compound. Test what test... The gear won't even got the chance to shift to second gear. In fact, when they first launched the Rio previously, I was only given to test drive the car in their compound. Is this a Naza Kia thing or its just this Sri rampai branch policy? Depend on the branch / dealer. Went to KD branch, dont have Cerato for test drive, need to make appointment, and already talking about loan payment etc and expecting us to pay for booking before test drive. Went to TTDI branch on same day, and they let us drive around TTDI area and onto LDP to test car acceleration and high speed driving. This post has been edited by faridr: Jun 13 2017, 01:35 AM

QUOTE(Bassraptor @ Jul 8 2017, 02:36 PM) FYI, new KIA owners For those going to do first free service at 1k... they also do tyre alignment FOC....next service on you have to pay for that. QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jul 8 2017, 04:52 PM) Tyre alignment is included in the warranty and indicated as valid up to 1000 km in the service booklet. But all service centers will assist you to the alignment during the first service, if you highlight this problem, that is car pulling to one side while driving. If i did not take the free service does the alignment included? Service center told us have to pay if want alignment to be done during 1000km service. Since we bought pre-reg car, service center inform us that we need to come again for service in september/october (instead of 10k km / 6 months) after 1k service today, so that record will be tally ( no idea what record). Is this normal?

Hi all, anyone has any outside workshop they recommend to replace left side mirror in KL / PJ area? A**hole biker going fast in static traffic jam, and hit the side mirror. Mirror motor dislocated, and SC had to disable the motor as for temporary fix. Cant event adjust the mirror from switch now. Cost to replace at SC is 1k for 1 mirror

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Dec 12 2017, 03:02 PM) Try this number for recond parts: Wong Auto parts 019-221 4437. He may or may not have. But worth to check. Much thanks! Contacted the number, and maybe just need to change the mirror motor, still need to send for him to take a look for confirmation. Quoted around rm250 for the motor replacement.
