Hi owners, please share your experience on the battery die off issue. I have seen a lot members here reporting that the battery died off within 1 year. Is it only happen once for the 1st year, or it will cont' to die off every year.
I will be placing booking these few days, but I am concern about this issue. If this is ongoing issue probably i will skip this and go for city V spec. This post has been edited by ckalvin: Jun 27 2015, 01:30 PM |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jun 27 2015, 02:23 PM) No, when the key is removed away from the car, the engine will not turn off by itself. However, the car will give a warning "ting-ting" chime to alert the driver than the key is no longer in the car. When talking about car battery, I will think of Century, Bosch and Panasonic. Can you suggest which brand/model work best with Cerato. I will be happy enof if the battery can last for 2 years+-.This is not an issue with the car, it is more of the battery itself. If the battery is no longer working within 1 year or 20,000 km (whichever occur first), you can claim warranty for it, otherwise you need to get a new one and it should cost about RM300 plus only. If you replace it with a reasonable good battery and depending on usage, it should last around 2 years or more. Hope this battery issue does not affect your consideration in choosing the right car. |
