So I got my Cerato 2.0 a week ago. My previous Forte 1.6SX seems almost basic in features in comparison, although I know the Forte broke new ground when it first came out. Enjoying my Cerato drive so far, going to get window tint done next week and after that, hopefully can find a decently priced detailing/coating service.

Any reason you chose this over Mazda 3?

1. Some years ago, i walked into a Mazda showroom and the salesman behaved like a total dickhead. Left a lasting impression. So Mazda wasn't my choice. My friend had the older Mazda 3... he said getting it in for service required booking well ahead.

2. Problem-free Kia Forte and hassle-free after-sales service before this. Important for me. So went with the devil I know.

3. Kia offer for 2.0 was damn good. And I know how their system works. From service to parts.

I tested the Cerato, Hyundai Ionic and VW Jetta.

I'm in my 50s and with a hectic schedule. Don't want unscheduled visits to service centers.

So that's why.

When I'm retired, I may be more adventurous!

Those are good reasons. Glad to hear KIA after sales is good. I wonder why so many complaints on Peugeot after sales service. Both are under Naza/Nasim isn't it?

I've heard so much about M3 handling being excellent. I suppose with dickheads at the showroom, you did not bother to drive M3. Would like to hear your view M3s handling.
