The sales said the car services is followed by mileage (1k, 10k,...) not like other within 3 months, 6 months or xxx.....but thn the 5 years warranty is count from the date the car register..
is that true?

the reason i am asking is coz i am not a road running, mileage per year shd be around 8-10k...

Kia service schedule start from 1,000 km or 1 month, 10,000 km or 6 month, 20,000 or 12 month and so on.  It will be either the mileage or the month which ever come first. If you drive little then you should service your car according to month rather then mileage. The date of service should be calculated from the date of registration.
The 5 years unlimited mileage warranty also start from the date of registration.

Hope this info help.

ok, thanks.
thn i think the sales is giving me wrong info although i ask him twice...

meaning i need to service my car within 1 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months...and so on (every 6 months) in order to have the 5 years warranty, right?
he told me juz need to service the car when the mileage reach 1k, 10k, 20k...so on...because my usage is not much, only per year 8-10k

and i think for my case, i shd take the 3 years free service also right? any recommend?
without this, additional rm3k rebate..

If you read the term and condition in the service book you will find it stated " mileage/month which ever come first".

The option to choose either the 3 years free service or cash rebate are entirely a personal choice. For your information base on the current lubricant & parts price the cost of service is just only slightly more than Rm3k so there is no significant cost saving here. However there are some other advantage for either choices.

Choosing the 3 years / 60,000km free service.
If you opt for the 3 years free service the advantage is if there are any price increase in lubricant or parts during the first 3 years period it will have no bearing on you.

Choosing the RM3k cash rebate
The advantage of choosing the RM3k cash rebate is you can use in to minimize your loan amount. Benefits are reduce monthly installment and saving on loan interest in the long run.
