Those are good reasons. Glad to hear KIA after sales is good. I wonder why so many complaints on Peugeot after sales service. Both are under Naza/Nasim isn't it?

I've heard so much about M3 handling being excellent. I suppose with dickheads at the showroom, you did not bother to drive M3. Would like to hear your view M3s handling.

I think earlier on, the services centres were not fully technically ready to handle Peugeot... the sales numbers at first were more than they expected. May have settled by now and things are probably smoother.

I did test the Mazda 2 back in 2010... was quite impressed with handling and drive... but a bit too small for me...

Been driving wifey's FL cerato 1.6.. hauled up full passengers with boot full of luggages. surprisingly, the 1.6 engine feels more energetic than the number suggests.. eager to be revved. love the responsive gearbox. nvh is good but tire noise is a bit high (maybe due to the conti MC5 tires?). wind noise is kept very low when driving at high speed which is very good. engine noise is no problem and sounds quite good when revved. ride is supple but geared to be on the stiffer side (probably due to the low profile tires). handling is quite ok to be honest with not so much bodyroll. steering is ok as it feels heavier when speed increases. though a bit more weight wouldn't hurt. fuel consumption is very good too.

spec wise is very good for the price. my only gripe is it doesn't come with automatic wipers. interior quality is good but i feel the design is not aligned with the rest of the models. maybe the next cerato will be better.

i used to own jap cars before this. took the plunge and bought the kimchi for once. will i buy another kia after this? yes. they seem to get better and better.

I'm driving K3 2.0 year of 2014, fuel consumption is about 8L/100km. Overall is good, handling & power is satisfied for me. But recently facing headlamp issue, waited for almost 2 months but still not able to claim for warranty. I would say Kia Malaysia need to improve their after sales service quality.

yea i agree.
after sales service quality still has room for improvement based on 1.75 years owning 1.6 k3.
poor standardization. different SC may say different things.

you need to make sure the car is locked.
You cannot test it straight away after locking the car. Need to be away for sometime.

did Naza incrase the price for cerato 1.6sx from RM101xxx earlier this year to 106xxx now? Any reason for the increment?

I just made a booking yesterday for 1.6SX grey. Wonder if anyone know how much is the charges if I want to change to original KIA leather seat?

In case you are not aware, the Smart Trunk only work if your car is locked. If you car is unlocked (although all door still close)...the Smart Trunk will not work.

Just thought of dropping by and put in some good words for Buydirect@Mr Loh.

It was a pleasant experience getting the car from him and certainly a good SA that I dealt with. He put in great time and effort to get things done properly and smoothly.

I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking to own a KIA. Very patient in answering all my questions to him. In-between got some changes request, but all being fulfill by Mr.Loh. Overall very nice and friendly person.

Very satisfied with my buying experience with him. Thanks Ms Loh for all your great help.

Yes, the price rose from 101,888 to 106,888 for year make 2017 and as well as for the new Facelift model and to account for the depreciation of our currency against the USD, which is the currency paid for the stocks from KIA Korea. However, this increase is very much cushion by the massive discount / offer given

What's wrong with your HU that you need a firmware update?

You need to go to Naza Auto Solution in PJ for a firmware update. Not sure it it's chargeable.

Yeah, a bit worrying how the Kia prices have gone up.

My former Forte 1.6SX, back in 2010, carried a RM80k sticker price, and the range of features then was way better than the B segment cars, and price, way more competitive than the C segment cars which was its classification.

However, there's quite a bit of discount, plus there's guaranteed trade-in value (50% of sticker price) after 5 years (with conditions). I figure the Raya promotion price for the 1.6SX would have been about 93-95k... and if you were trading in a Kia for a Kia, another 3k...
