Yes, very well said. It depends on what the driver expects from the car. By all means , 1.6L is NOT under-power, it is sufficient for normal commuting and to majority of owners, 1.6L engine is sufficient and meets their budget of a C segment car.
However, they are those who demand power and higher torque , presumably because of your driving preference or needs (lots of passengers, hilly terrain, always in a rush to go places), then go for the 2.0L.
To know what you need, please go for a test drive. Only then, you will know what you really need. Just my 2cents.
