1. For the 1st service (1month/1000km whichever comes 1st) what engine oil is suggested?
2. For the stock hu unit, how do I have Android auto in it? Or any simple modification to make it more advanced?

Btw do you guys know any place that got ready stock K3 boot tray? Try search around but mostly out of stock. Lazada got but im afraid will take more than a week to reach here as they need import from outside. Need it before sunday

1) Most service center use Petronas and some Shell.
2) Stock head unit is not equipped with Android auto. But there is a mirror link function that you can use to connect your Waze from your smart phone.

My front windshield cracked today at NKVE. It’s insured but may I know where can I change it? Any KIA branch can change it? Or must do outside?

If you have insured sufficiently, eg 2.5K-3K, then best to go to KIA authorised service center to do it. If you do it at outside workshops eg Dr Cermin / Windscreen and many others, the cost is cheaper, but am not so sure about the quality. If any forumers had experience with outside windscreen repairer, please share.

There are some Pre-Registered Kia Cerato Year make 2019 units going at very good offers now. Anyone interested ? Basically, they are brand new cars, but registered under the name of the company first, and later transfered to the new owner.

Some myth on Pre-registered cars
1) Resale value is lower compared to an unregistered unit
The resale value is very dependant on the Year Make and condition of the car at the point of sale, not so much on the past and number of previous ownership

2) Warranty not valid
The warranty shall be transferred to the next owner and valid for 5 years from the date of registration

3) Plate number registered cannot be changed
Usually, a nice number has been chosen for the plate number for the car. However, it is still possible to change the number thru a number interchange process but some cost for the interchange shall apply.

4) The pre-registered car is a test drive / showroom car.
In this specific case, the cars are NOT , they are basically brand new physically with mileage clocked only from the testing done at the factory, prior to shipment to the sales outlet.

Better change at kia sc, cerato k3 use acoustic windscreen for better soundproofing, not the normal windscreen one.

For number interchange, it is only possible thru buying a new plate number from JPJ , not from an existing used car.

Hi im considering Kia Cerato 1.6sx 2019 new. My main concerns are the spare part availability and time taken to claim warranty and slight concern on RV. An owner told me over a forum that he waited for 3 months to get his brake pad. Is this true. Need kind advice to make decision.Tq
