Lets face it: Jun wouldn't be popular if he was a she. Jun has a rather generic eroge herione look to him. Other than his plumbing, he's looks and sound exactly like a girl. It makes me think that when they company was brainstorming ideas for a plot, they decided to pick one of the girls and say "Why don't we make this one a man?" Whether that was how it happened or not, it certainly paid off for them. Few people would know (or care) about Happiness if not for Jun's girlish manliness.
