Well Streamyx are not gonna care what we say here.

We have to get their attention. Complaining to them wont help a bit. The only way to get their attention is to get all of us to work together to MAKE them take notice.

I remembered someone said make a petition. Once they notice how many of us aren't satisfied we just might be able to get their attention.

As long as we can get their attention and notice how bad this it is, it will work. But if you just complain nothing is gonna happen. The petition has to get the attention of the people in charge of the streamyx servers.

The streamyx lag problem well last a very long time. Since they didnt even announce any upgrades or address us that their gonna fix the problem.

Its up to us. Unless you know another way we can get their attention. To me and a few of my friends agree that a petition will get their attention.

What do you think? Or you just wanna keep complaining? Its up to you.

KL has the biggest chance to make them notice cause for 1 thing its the capital, i assume the largest amount of streamyx users are in KL due to the large population & most of the big shots are in KL of just outside of KL.

Unless u think we could use the emails as a petition? but i dont think it'll work using emails. This thing has to be organized and done in hardcopy.

Finding people to do it is hard.

Anybody a son of the Datuk/minister around here go ask your dads for help.(worth a shot)

foreign players? I put yes cause i want TMnET to have competition when it cames to broadband. That way they'll always look after their customers.

my ip was 60.*.... and cant change coz its set to my area.

i was getting DC from stremyx every 10-20 seconds. Was not able to surf/play wow or DL last night. It started in the afternoon and onwards to 12am, after that i went to bed.

headache.....i wish there was another company providing broadband service. i wouldnt mind if i had to pay RM150 to any another company as long as the service and broadband was good.

I wish i was within the coverage of one of time's broadband service. i heard it was good but arent sure coz nvr tested it. I'm all the way in Miri, Sarawak. So there isnt any coverage of any kind of wireless broadband of yet.

But TIME has been around Miri, and i heard my area is gonna get wireless broadband next year and i hope its TIME so i can cancel my streamyx unless they fix their lines.

I'm playing at 500-700 SOMETIMES

but i mostly get around 1000-2000.
I try to ignore the fact that it has a 1-2 sec delay. And just play like normal.

So when is Malaysia getting cable? LOL

Tmnet will probably congest this lines too haha

the streamyx package 512, is it fix IP address?
Cause i can't get any other IP number. (60.48)

i reported the problem to streamyx so many times the last week and they finally fixed it and an email from them to apologies for inconvenience.
Starting yesterday the line has been fine.
As said in the letter "report number ####### and forwarded to our Technical Unit to check on the configuration and upgrade your account speed accordingly"

After this 60.48 is ok lantency is around 500-1100 playable.

I think they finally did something and i was just about to go to TMNUT office to make an official report to the head office. but since its a lil better now i'll wait a see if it happens again.

yup i lost my connection on the 1st & 2nd. I couldnt connect at all on those 2 days. And when i did connect it was only for a few seconds and extreme lag even when i surf.

I complained and they said they'll upgrade my line to meet the speed it was intended to reach. Since then my line was ok but not out of the woods yet.

I still get connection problems and Spike lag.

oh man i hate streamyx......i wish there was another company that provides non wireless ADSL that knows the meaning of quality and not push everyone into their servers causing it to be slow. Streamyx servers are slow.
