hehe. fellow player from mlk? i have same problems. called streamyx and they said they'll check it out. sigh. wonder how it'll go. anyway, connecting at bout 7.30pm has ensured i get a 218.** line. play right through the night when that happens

edit: - Just got a call from streamyx personal. (fast considering what i've heard on this board). They say they've fixed the port but i'm not at home to test out the connection so i'll just have to do it when i get back. let you guys know if there's any difference.

Hey... I have a question for you techie guys biggrin.gif

My modem allows for USB and Ethernet connection, so I plug my PC to my modem directly by USB.

Would it make any difference compared to if I used Ethernet? I did tracert on both and doesn't show much of a dif :S

hmm... one of my employees is an ex-streamyx installer...

I got him to come over and have a look... and he just changed a "port" in the telecommunications room in the condo I live in.

After a modem reboot... 250ms-400ms... so far its holding out smile.gif

Its good to have friends biggrin.gif
