QUOTE(Wolfgard @ Mar 28 2005, 05:47 PM) I just hit level 50 yesterday (that's 3-4 levels in the 2k ping period). Not cool at all. All except 1 of my spells that I normally use are instant casts (curses, corruption, nighfall+shadowbolt, instant pet) so the delay hurts my strat alot. For PvP, I can just barely do it against melee fighters as I use fear kiting alot....hehe... EDIT: Latency still stuck at 2k and it's already past working hour. I guess we'll have to wait till tmr. Grats on 50! I hit 50 yesterday too with the bad lag Hope everything will be fine soon.

For those who had been experiencing high pings, pls do a tracert to confirm the email that Xeoalpha got from TMNET!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for this. Have been suffering for so long. Please let this be true!

QUOTE(Reis @ Apr 6 2005, 02:11 PM) Erm I doubt because I used that international speed meassure site and its still the same, at 60 kbps. Other than that I dont know about anything that can be more concrete you can do a tracert like blizz suggested http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww0827p5

Didnt get any better last night.
Streamyx was down for about an hour, was hoping that they are doing their job finally getting it all fixed. Logged into WoW. Bam 2k ping gradually turning into 3k+. Gf over in TTDI using 1mb line got 218. no problem, latency abit high around 500-800ms but playable.
This is kinda getting old. I'll stop posting how lag it is.

QUOTE(Wolfgard @ Apr 9 2005, 12:50 AM) I'm running on 219.95 too. Yes, it's shifts from fast to slow and back again. I'm not sure I should be happy or angry now...considering I can actually play decently. But, I'll stay in game for awhile more just to check on the lag rate: My rough estimate of ping rate based on in game response: Fast: about 500-700ms Slow: varies from 2000ms to 6000ms. Average based on latency meter: varies from 2500-4500ms. Strange huh? Haha Wolf, im experiencing exactly the same thing. Got invited to Sunken Temple, latency shoots up to 8k. Cant play. Relog hearth back to Orgy quit. At least we know that they are somehow fixing it, and its a good sign. 219 might get back to normal.

Just want to know hows the 1mb line doing. Considering of upgrading, but not sure whether it will make any difference. I can only get 219 ip for my 512 line. Will i get other ips if I subscribe for a 1mb?
Ping is from 400-1.5k last night with occasional lag spikes.

QUOTE(plaz @ Apr 15 2005, 10:44 AM) hi guys, Don't try 218.111 .x.x ips ...they usually gives 1k ping or more Instead try those with goes thru a proxy, 218.208.XXx.XXX is giving me good ping time...400-500ms. ( i am on Illidan) ugh, i wish i have a choice... Stuck @ 219 forever i think. I wanted to know if only the 1mbline and above accounts are getting other thatn 219 ip. Anyone with 512kb getting ip other than 219?

Surprisingly smooth last night, 600-800ms. Checked my ip, its 219.23... backup ip or a new ip?
Anyway I was able to enjoy 2 hours of smooth gameplay before maintenence. There was a huge lagspike, but after that its all good.

QUOTE(zadan @ Apr 29 2005, 05:05 PM) awww man...i just got enough money to buy WoW....u guys recommend me to wait 1st or how ar?please guide me pleaseee.....i cannot tahan looking at WoW and not playing it ehhehehe....wait 1st or can buy now also? Ping's not that bad for me this week. 800 - 1.3k ms most of the time. If you think you can accept a 1 sec lag you should just go get it and enjoy. You might be lucky if you're able to connect to some rare ips that gives you less then 1k ms ping.
